And the best engineering college in India.Good Academics.Good CompetitionCET Toppers from Maharashtra comes to this college to pursue engineering.Good Placements record.There are almost 34 clubs in the college which includes technical and non technical clubs.Autonomous College.Extra curricular development.One of the few colleges in India to provide B-tech in Metallurgical Engineering.Therefore I opted for this course.

Autonomous college and the oldest college in India with numerous alumnis who did great in many fields. Tge college is more like a brand in the field of engineering education. I knew some people who studied there and did pretty well in professional life.

The college is extremely good but some old faculty they have a different mode of teaching which makes it difficult for students to understand while the new ones know what students exactly need,but semester by semester New faculty is coming.

What is your review of College of Engineering, Pune (COEP)?
COEP Pune is a reputed technological institute and offers decent academics and placement opportunities to the students. As far as teaching goes, you can expect to have 50-50 experience. Some of the faculties are excellent and have in-depth knowledge about their subjects, while others are not so much. COEP has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped.
The institute has a good placement record. The highlights of recent COEP placements show the median CTC to be around INR 5 LPA. VISA, eBay, Barclays, Oracle, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
COEP’s Techfest - Mindspark is the largest techfest in Maharashtra after IITB’s techfest.
