From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In one year around 200+ companies visit COEP. For Metallurgy, there are 15-20 companies. The main companies which recruit Metallurgical engineering graduates are Bharat Forge, reliance, Kalyani, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta resources, and many more. In 2020 the highest package was 32 LPA and for Metallurgy it was 10 LPA. If you consider overall college's performance then the placement percentage is 85% and for Metallurgy it's 80%.
Its the best college that you can get a addmission through CET. And Asia's 3rd most oldest college. The placement is also good and located is good city. You will find a good social life and there will be much more opportunities to you after you graduate from this college.

Coep is Oldest engineering college. Autonomous and deemed University. After Guindy COE and IIT Roorkee this is old University. Coep is past name is University of Bombay. The hall, auditorium, classroom is nice.
College of engineering Pune is known for its heritage and it's one of the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra. I'm from Pune and it was always my dream to got admitted in COEP. It's very good college.
