COEP BTech admissions 2024 are going to begin soon. The institute accepts MHT CET and JEE Mains scores for admission to its BTech program, and the MHT CET exam is ongoing between May 02- May 16, 2024, for the PCM group. The result for the MHT CET 2024 is expected to be released in the second week of June 2024.
COEP offers a BTech program at the UG level for a duration of 4 years. This program is offered in 9 different specialisations with a total seat intake of 773 students. The total intake capacity for the Maharashtra state candidates is 80% whereas for the All India candidates, the intake remains 20%. Admission to this course is based on the entrance test scores such as MHT CET (Maharashtra domicile), and JEE Mains (All India). On qualifying for these examinations, students are required to register for the CAP counselling through which the seat allocation process is conducted. The CAP releases cutoffs for the COEP BTech programs in 3 rounds for both the HS and AI students. In 2023, the MHT CET cutoff for the general category students closed at 99.92 percentile in round 1 of CAP counselling.

Admission to the BTech programs is done on the basis of MHT-CET scores obtained by the candidates. To successfully register for the MHT CET, please follow the steps given-below:

- Pay the Application Fee of INR 800 (for the General category) and INR 600 (for the reserved category).

COEP Cutoff 2024 (Expected)
The cutoff for the BTech programs at COEP will be based on the scores obtained in the MHT CET or JEE Mains exam. Further, the CAP counselling will release 3 rounds of cutoff and seat allotment. In 2023, the MHT CET cutoff for the general students ranged from 97.45 to 99.92 percentile in CAP round 1. On the other hand, the JEE Mains cutoff for the COEP BTech programs ranged from 98-3973 in round 1. COEP MHT CET Cutoff 2024 (Expected)
The MHT CET cutoff for the COEP BTech courses closed at 99.92 percentile for the Computer Science and Information Technology discipline in round 1 of CAP counselling for the general candidates. However, in the final round, the cutoff for the same program slightly dropped and closed at 99.86 percentile. The COEP cutoff for the AI candidates was released on the basis of the JEE Mains scores. In CAP round 1, the cutoff range was from 98 to 3973 rank, and in round 3, it remained between 319 and 2613 rank. Yes, Besides traditional Engineering programs, there is another program launched by COEP. This program is B.Tech. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. The program is launhed with a view to teach students advanced applications of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing, Space Explorations, Agriculture, Health Care, Military, Navigation etc. The institute has also started Centralised Robotics and Automation Library and Industrial Robotics Laboratory.
The M.Tech. course at COEP is offered in Data Science and Cyber Security. Given below are the fee details of the same course for 2023-24 session only. This is because the updated fee structure has not yet been released.
