I chose the SCMHRD MBA-HR course because it is one of the best in the country with an illustrious history and a great legacy. The alumni base for me was a very important thing and I did reap many benefits of the alumni base during my internship by connecting with many alumni. The faculty in the college are decent and a few industry bigwigs also visit as visiting faculty to teach us. The term-end exams were conducted promptly and the exams weren't really difficult to get through.

There are three courses or programs at Symbiosis Centre for management and human resource development those are MBA Core, MBA BA and MBA IDM. We have a specific curriculum designed for all the programs and faculties is very well-experienced.

MBA was something that was there always on my mind There are 70 students in HR, 100 in marketing and 30 in Finance. There are 10-13 subjects per semester with different faculties for different subjects
The faculties in SCMHRD have ample subject knowledge and are open to any questions irrespective of the audacity of the question. They are well versed with every topic in detail and are excellent in teaching. Apart from the permanent faculties, there are more than 100 visiting faculties from various industries and have varied experiences to help students understand the corporate scenarios in a better way. The course is taught through case studies which opens up the creative lens of students during the pre-read. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the first year was online and the assessment criteria were different for our batch. Apart from the internal assignments, case studies and midterms, the end terms were of MCQ format. There was an advantage to SCMHRD on having a semester system.
All the faculty members are highly qualified in their respective fields. Few faculty members are there who have years of industry experience and process deep knowledge in their subjects. Every faculty is very helpful and is available all the time to help students whenever in need. There are many faculty members which are enough for all the students to gain attention and seek help from. Exams are conducted well on time and even internals are conducted at the well-specified time.
The college offers residential programme. The fee structure involves the course fee as well as Hostel and mess charges. Fees is little expensive however Return on Investment Is great, which ensures that we don't hesitate in spending money.
Feasible, it's less for MBA in IDM than in core and if you will take a loan you will be easily able to pay with 2-3 years after getting placed so return on investment is really good. If you are having work experience then better.
SNAP consists of 3 sections QA,DI,LR IDM is unique kind of course related to infrastructure only, however one have to study other Core subjects also like HR, Operation,Finance, Marketing,BA That enhance the knowledge in every single domain and help in core sector.
The fees for batch of 2020 was 17 lakhs which was to be paid in 4 installments, the details of which were clearly provided before joining. This fees falls in the range of other bschools of the same tier.No additional charges are to be paid apart from the fees mentioned in the receipts provided by the college. Fees is accepted via NEFT/RTGS, DD or online transfers.
Someone I know who is an alumnus of SCMHRD has said that finding out which college is better will bear little to no fruits.
You can get in touch with the professionals from both programs and try to understand what you will have to do in order to make a name for yourself. An internal analysis is involved after which it is gauged what field would be the most suitable for you.
NMIMS is popular for producing marketing professionals. Finance is also popular in the institute. Analytics is not the flagship course of SCMHRD. They are very different courses and your temperament and aptitude are also contributing factors.
Doing an MBA from top IIMs and XLRI have its advantages. These are the best management schools in the country and offer excellent career opportunities and exposure. But it doesn’t necessarily mean pursuing an MBA from JBIMS will not be worth the investment. It ranks right after IIM ABC, XLRI, and FMS. It has maintained a stellar placement record over the years. JBIMS placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 27.63 LPA. The return on investment is great.
SCMHRD isn’t as reputed as JBIMS. But it is also a good B-School with decent placement record. The average CTC for SCMHRD is around INR 16 LPA.
