Pretty, Hospitable and good atmosphere .
Students are actively participate in activities and events.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As its a government affiliated college under Guahati University. Except only the commerce stream is private here(which means we have to pay full fees and theres no fee waiver option), though its worth studying commerce in this college as the faculty is strict, and very good when it comes to classes and teaching. The rest of the two faculties(Humanities/Arts and Science)are Govt aided and can be assessed through reservations, fee waiver and ec quotas. College also opens doors to let their students apply to a wide range of govt. Schemed scholarships which are legit and so helpful for students with different societal and financial backgrounds.

College environment is good for learning,teachers helped us at any moment during exams also cleared out doubts,
College provides Ncc to the students who are interested and helped them to achieve their goals in Ncc.

Dislikes

All the college in Guwahati are affiliated under Guwahati University so in each degree there are 6 sems and each sem exams should be taken in 6months as each degree completes in 3 year but exams some sems are completed within 3 months
College provides so much assignment at the time of the exam that becomes so much stress for the students and have to submit just in 2 days ..time frame given by the teachers to complete the assignment are too less

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

For Bcom the admission in 1st sem for 1 year ( includes 1st sem and 2nd sem) was 16k for 3rd and 4th sem was 16k and also for 5th and 6th sem is 16k . College provides identity cards and also library card for the students

Likes

The college fees is comparatively very low which benefits students coming from lower section of the society . The college also offers fee waiver facility to economically weaker sections of the society . Books are given for free.
Teachers are very professional and friendly .

Dislikes

Doesn't provides intership or placement opportunities.
Doesn't care much about students attendance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

College fees and admission fees is comparatively very low which benefits students coming from lower section of the society. I need to take admission after every six months which costs around 1500-2000 . No monthly fees is needed . Also fee waiver facility is provided which less the amount to around 50% which benefits the economically weaker section students.

Fees structure of this college is affordable. They also provide scholarship schemes. I didn't avail the scholarships schemes so I can't actually any of the scheme. College doesn't not provide placement or stipends.

My thoughts on Guwahati College

Likes

First is of course the teachers, because they are so humble and down to earth.
Second is probably the seniors , because they are also so friendly.

Dislikes

Sometimes students get involved into a brawl.
Bathroom and toilet services are also some of the things I don't like.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The total fee for the college was like around 5000 rupees. As I was taking addmission in science stream so I do not consider this as a very high amount. And also there is NCC available in the college.

Behaviour of seniors during college week.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

• no tution fees. • It's affordable for a lower middle class family for 4 years maximum the fees would be under 20000. • National scholarship, SC scholarship etc. • I have got many contacts for volunteering in events after joining the college whatsapp groups and got a nice stipend too.

Here campus is big and well developed building.
Here environment is very good for classes and self-study also.

Dislikes

It has a dress code regard we have civil dress.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Our admission fee is around 5000 but i took admission as fee wavers so paid 650 and took admission. At the end of semester we paid examination fee which was around 2500 from all the students from science background and for scholarship we have to apply separately .

I like the the environment of the seniors and juniors living together in a classroom maintaining discipline and silence and the decorem of the classroom with overall quiet good environment
I also like this sports played and offered under the teachers guiding.

Dislikes

To list things I dislike there are only few like the washrooms are not that clear because not All students are discipline they you to reign of the environment
When the student union organisation something the certificate delivery is late and the size distribution ceremony is not up to Mark

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tuition fees very minimal and the rate is not increasing day by day it's like temporary but easy for students to pay the complete course of the education including the services and all is within 35000 for the completion of course and mini scholarships are available for various categories of people under different caste and campus employee have undertaken some responsibilities like gardening and all of all over its good

The fee is almost 150000 in 3 years And every year goes to 55k Many of the scholarships are found in college-like MLA fund, MP fund etc and also teachers help the students for processing of the application

Fees are relatively lower in our college than the private colleges and some of the government colleges. Students with caste certificates can apply for scholarships in our college. I am also able to get a scholarship one time during my B.com.
