Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:17. Faculty is easily approachable for any student. They solve each and every problem of the students. Niraj sir is an associate professor and is teaching since 2005 and he is very well equipped with student behaviour and keeps every student disciplined and has a great knowledge in comparative politics and political theory. Gaurav sir is a guest lecturer and has a vast knowledge in International Relations and is available through a text at any time of the day. Shambhavi mam is sweetest of all. Other teachers have a great knowledge in their subjects. One teacher, Subodh sir is way too dramatic. He doesn't take any classes and is too egoistic to handle students. Chandrika mam teaches public administration very well. There are 2 semesters per year. The course is of 3 years till now but the people wish to do the research can stay back for a 4th year. There are exams for each semester. Exams are easy. Just the students who doesn't study at all won't pass otherwise everybody qualifies. The course curriculum is too relevant and effective to today's world. The subjects like public policy, International Relations, public administration or global politics make it interesting too.

Campus Life

Overall campus experience is good. The annual fest of the college is Yuvaan. It is held in Feb last week to March 1st week. It is for 3 days consecutively. There are different fests for different particular courses too. Like for my course it is Svasti. The course/departmental fests are usually held in the even semester time that is between the Jan to April months. But it is on the students and facilities so as to when they would like to organize their fests. There aren't any sponsorship as the principal of the college doesn't allow that. The fests are done with the budget of the college/departments only. The books are available in the college library but many books I've searched for weren't available. So, for this I would rate it low. But the library is fully air conditioned. The facilities are there but the cameras that are installed doesn't work, not all but most of them doesn't. Sports facilities are nice. There is a fully air conditioned gym in the basement as well as sports room for carrom tennis etc. There are clubs/societies for many extra curricular activities like music, dance , theatres, filmmaking and photography etc which are fully functional and good for overall student development.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the course which i have opted is very reasonable it is 18000 per year, along with this some extra benefits in the reduction of fees is also given to reservation categories. There are certain scholarships are also provided to the student based on the academics, reservation, sports and other fields.

As i already mentioned before that the faculty of my college is actually very nice. They are supportive and approachable. Faculty members are well educated and their teaching methods are also good. The relationship between the students and faculty is open and free.

At MJPRU, annual fest in march, tech fest in October. Library had limited books, classrooms lacked tech. Sports like cricket available, no active clubs. Social life was average, no major student groups to connect with.

The BA curriculum in the university of the university is too good the things that motivated me too choose this course was the upsc cse exam the syallbus of BA of Allahabad university is too match with Civil services exam the area to be improve is the need of the implications of the New education policy and change the traditional method of teaching the exam is held once in a year in UG courses while on other hand in PG exam is held on every 4 months the difficulty level is moderate

My college journey

As per my class there is 58 student. I have 5-6 subject and we have separate teachers for every subject. So teachers are totally helpfull and they provide us quality of education. I like history department faculty. Because they teach us in chill mode they are totally chill what they teach we easily understand. Sometimes i dislikey my political science facility because new teachers young teacher are feel.they are well known. They are like oversmart. Exam question paper are moderate for the students. So everyone easily crack it.

Annual fest are organises every year. Our college fest name is YUVAAN which one of the best fest in all over DU. And which 3 days fest and we totally enjoy in these days. And other than this there also lots of fest like departmental, society etc. Mostly books are available in library. In class only curtain condition is wrost and Projectors are damaged. ? I like about the colleges placement cells and teachings style . I like about the college being 0 ragging envoronment There is no ragging in college the college is ragging free ?The college prepares for the competetive exams and provide various carricular activities with no extra fee ?the college should be make improvements in examination patter and compeleting the syllabus They complete the syllabus very fast my openiom is to inprove this and give some time to students to study which will reduce the stress for student Exams timing and methods are good and student get time before appearing to the college for examination Exams are not very defficult exams are moderate if a student daily attend the classes he or she can vet good marks in college without studying

?The annual fee for my BA regular course is 6000 to 6500. But if a student have self finance seat for my course he should double fee of regular aprox 12000 annualy ? There is no extra fee in my college in the name of development fee lab fee library etc. There is only extra fee for the admission form only The admission for cost the rupees of 900 ?My BA seat is Self Finance seat and my maximum batchmates are having regular seat so i pay 13500 anually and my batchmates having rgular seat pay tge fee of 6500 ?college provide scholarships with the help of government . Which helps the students tp pay there fee and other expenses

Beauty with honesty.

According to me the political science curriculum is good the teacher is really good in teaching of this subject which influence me to choose this course because i also have interest in this subject it gives me a lot of knowledge how things work in real world. The timing of exams is perfect on their difficulty level.

I pay 8000 for my BA course yes it increase 2000 per year and everyone have same fees structure as mine my college did not provide any schlorships. As per my knowledge. The tuition fees and admission fees comes under 8000 and registration fees is 250 there is no development, lab fees.

The syallabus of course bachelor of arts is related to the syallabus of upsc so this was main reason to take this course . But it doesn't prepare you for he real world applications, somewhat it can help in masters but it has very less relevance. The course should be changed and it should be made fit for real world applications and further academic pursuits The frequency of exams are very high and become of that students feel stressed.

The year wise fees is approximately 4000-5000. And there's a option of free admission... This category students have to submit their parents annual income certificate....but this year , I saw in the news that who have ration card, can get free admission without income certificate. And there's also available scholarships like ishanudoi scholarship, scholarship on the basis of sc,st, obc (who apply for ishanudoi can't apply for other caste based scholarship) Here, the facilities are very friendly and helpful. Though this college is under affiliated Gauhati University, now it is autonomous and within short period it will be university as already passed the university declaration bill by government. It has separate Exam Controller as it is autonomous now. Exams are conducted very well and the results are available within a month or rarely within two months .So now we can say it as Nowgong University instead of NOWGONG college (autonomous). It is also the best college in Nagaon district and one of the best colleges of Assam. Within North East India, it has ranked after the prestigious Cotton university. First of all,the teachers are very good teachers and loveable teachers. Very friendly to students.The syllables are very simple to study,and i liked my course Ba english like shakespeare,shelley etc..In BA english,we have only 5 subjects and 6 semester. In each semester we have to pay the exam fee.only few students totally in our college to fail in the exam ,i mentioned “only few students in our college“.That is the range our teachers teaching the subjects.

overall my college life is beautiful and i cannot explain it because it‘s an emotion also.In college college - collage day,sports day,arts day etc are we celebrating the main functions.so many technology are there in our college.The library is beautiful and the books is really amazing.so many varity books are there in our library. the course curriculum is really nice ai have opted for pol sci as my major and history as my minor political science is really relevant in the current situation as we are well updated with the foreign policy and international relations history offers ancient and medieval history of india it gets a little boring instead there could have been more focus on modern history and world history as well

the faculty to student ratio is average the faculty is really experienced and approachable the political science department has the best faculty whereas the history department requires a little improvement as they are not able to engage well with students there are only end term exams and internals which are moderate in difficulty most of the students are able to clear them

Delhi University- know it all

Colleges in DU are mostly known for their fest culture and this is the time most celebrated in DU, most fest are held in March and April . Du offers a great range of books with good library infrastructure . Sports , extra-curriculars , societies and societal activities like ngos is the heart and soul of DU hence providing a great deal in these all and hence great skill development.

Annual fee of my college is 20000 for my course that is B.A. prog. Overall Experience

My fees for this year is 17830, which is an increase of about 3000 from the last year. The college does provide fee concessions for the EWS class and the physically challenged. For the detailed fee structure, which includes the tution fee, caution fee etc, which depends onn the various course, please visit the arsd college website fee structure. The for the previous year for my course was about 14,560. Also there is a separate DU exam fee which everyone has to pay for each year exam, which also depends on the course, number of subjects and which category you belong to, which for me was about 300 for the general category.

The faculty of the college is learned and well equipped with knowledge, with everyone being a PhD holder in their respective fields. There are 2 exams, one each after every semester. There are obviously some whom students will find unhelpful and also burden the students with alot of work, but overall the situation not all that bad. One basic thing about DU exams is that we have to write as much as we can, expecially the BA students as each question carries about 12 marks minimum.

I'm not about any other department but my department is good with presence of very brilliant teachers who helps us in very gentle way and always try to guide us about our future events. Also after NEP we are burdened with several kinds of continuous assessment and projects that burdened us and its create problems for us.
