- College environment is good for learning,teachers helped us at any moment during exams also cleared out doubts,
- College provides Ncc to the students who are interested and helped them to achieve their goals in Ncc.
Dislikes
- All the college in Guwahati are affiliated under Guwahati University so in each degree there are 6 sems and each sem exams should be taken in 6months as each degree completes in 3 year but exams some sems are completed within 3 months
- College provides so much assignment at the time of the exam that becomes so much stress for the students and have to submit just in 2 days ..time frame given by the teachers to complete the assignment are too less
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am studying Bcom here but everything in bcom is how well you can memorize there is nothing much practical in bcom expect in some subjects which we will get in 3rd sem and 4th sem. Final Exams are taken in very six months and level is quite medium as college trained us properly for the examination
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For Bcom the admission in 1st sem for 1 year ( includes 1st sem and 2nd sem) was 16k for 3rd and 4th sem was 16k and also for 5th and 6th sem is 16k . College provides identity cards and also library card for the students
Campus Life :
In college farewell are held every year and for every department department farewell are held...In main farewell singers come from outside and lighten up the students. Educational trip are also held for the students also College Weeks are celebrated in each year which includes different sports and co curriculum activity where students can show their various talents . Also Winter Carnival also celebrated in winter where students can open there stalls and sell various items.
Admission :
The admission process was simple we have to fill up admission form online and wait merit list which comes out after 2-3 weeks and the cutoff was around 55% for bcom also you can get in 50% .I suggest the cutoff marks should be increased upto 60-65% . Nowadays state government have introduced darpan portal where students can take admission form online and wait for the merit list
Faculty :
Teachers are here are well qualified. And also help students in clearing the doubts also teachers provides notes and explain every topics very nicely and also provides past years questions papers for the betterment for the students
