Assam UG Admissions 2023 Open @assamadmission.samarth.ac.in; Apply till June 28

New Delhi: The Director of Higher Education, Assam has started the application process for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by Assam State Universities for academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply online at assamadmission.samarth.ac.in.

Candidates must note that the last date to submit applications for Assam UG Admission 2023 is June 28, 2023. The application must be submitted on the official Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal to be considered by participating universities.

Through the admission portal, applicants can apply for BCom, Bsc, BVoc, BCA and other courses at top universities in Assam including Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University, Bhattadev University, Bodoland University, Madhabdev Univesity and Rabindranath Tagore University, etc.

Assam UG Admission 2023 Important Dates

Following the admission schedule, the first merit list for admission will be published by colleges and universities on July 04, 2023 and admission against the first merit list will close on July 07, 2023. The second merit list will be announced on July 08 and the third will be published on July 12, 2023.

Steps to Apply for Assam UG Admission 2023 Online

Students preparing to apply for UG admissions at Assam Universities can submit their online application form on the admission portal by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal at assamadmission.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the latest “New Candidate Registration” link available on the homepage. 

Step 3: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id, etc.

Step 4: Log in with your registration credentials and fill in all required details in the application form.

Step 5: Choose your courses and colleges, pay the application fee and submit the Assam UG Admission 2023 Application form. 

Step 6: Applicants must also take a printout of the application form for all future needs.

Informing about the admission portal, the official website reads, "The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the state, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities”.

This portal will allow students to cover a wide outreach and take part in the admissions process to Assam State Universities. Candidates are advised to go through the official portal and check the eligibility criteria of participating institutions before applying for admission.
