the infrastructure of the college the sitting arrangement , the projector, the teaching staff

Dislikes

college canteen the service they provide is low quality , some food is not worth as per the price
small ground , not have too much space for people to play outdoor games and not have a proper room for indoor games

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is currently booming the market right people wants to learn data science , ai to get a nice job in that filed that is the reason why i choose data science, i learned many computer languages that help to solve real world problems, more techniques to make it more easy to understand moderate the papers were and time was around 2.5 hrs

I liked the library and the campus. The best thing is about the course and their New Syllabus as per NEP

Dislikes

I am little worried about the placements. It would be more good if there were more sports facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I told the college is autonomous. It has it's own syllabus based on NEP. They only teach which is important for as per present and future demands. Also the syllabus is different from Mumbai University They are teaching according to today's market demands

MY college, is one of the best colleges in mumbai because they have great infrastructure along with good classrooms and a very beautiful garden where we can chill and hangout.
The college also has a very bug Amphitheatre where almost all events of the college are held, these events are really great i know it fronthand because i was the cultural Secretary there for an year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well during my admission my motto was too either get Computer or the fields of computer science such as ai, ml, ds or any such and when i got this field of ai&ds i was intrigued because i got too learn both ai and ds which is beneficial in future. Other than that the curriculum is really great as they include subjects needed for the course too actually understand and learn the subjects of ai and ml.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good enough to give the student a fair chance to learn about their subjects. The theory and practical classes are there to prepare students for real-world applications. The exams are conducted between the semester and at the end of the semester.

The very first thing i liked in my college is the faculty, they are friendly and that's why they can clear our doubt very well i you asked.
Library is the another thing i like because you can study in the library very well since there are air conditioners, cleanliness, pc as well

Dislikes

I dislike in my college is the entrance, they can have better entrance as your college is located in the Mumbai region you expect something better
College daily timing my 2nd sem college timings was from 8.30 to 3.30 which is too much it should get reduced

The faculty encourage you to take participation in hackathons and events They arrange lots of events I think they should improve in coding subject rather than theory subjects The difficulty of exam is less than Mumbai University but not that much of lower But if you study hard during the time approved for exam studies you will definitely pass just you have to study hard during exam days and little bit of daily study during sem days

The campus is huge so all the basic amenities like wifi, canteen, xerox shop, playground, turf, indoor games room etc is available to all the students. The labs are also big and every labs have good working computers.
The faculty teaches effectively because they posssess deep knowledge of their subjects.

Dislikes

Some of the instruments or kits in the labs are not properly functioning

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good it includes electronics as well as telecommunications subjects. Apart from the regular curriculum the department also provides variety of domains as elective subjects which a student can choose according to his/her interest. It also covers all programming languages like C,C++,Java and Python. If a student seeks interest in software industry then can take subjects related to that in the electives. The curriculum does give a basic understanding of how the theoretical knowledge is applied in the real world and what are the problems faced by it. Teaching in the college is mostly focused how it's real life application. The mid terms are conducted with in 3 months of the course beginning and which covers a half of the syllabus. Apart from mid terms there are quizzes that are taken regularly in lectures and tutorials and assignments to revise the concept.

College Atmoshphere and culture, peers along with teachers all are good and supportive
Infrastructure is good too, labs, classrooms and lift services are there

Dislikes

Campus area is too small. Student sometimes need to relax with friends so. Comparatively its less
Circulum is quite good. But i though feel that some thins need to improvised .

The college has labs, good classrooms, ppt presentation system. Due to all these teaching experience is quite good . Although more effort about teaching of the curriculum should be put. Also taking in consideration the exam schedule it is good for the students. Also reexams are conducted within a week of the actual exam.

The teachers are very qualified and educated atleast from the 2nd year
There is a good balance of studies and extra curicular activities.

Dislikes

After the college has become autonomous ,it has become very hectic.
The minimum 75% attendence criteria makes it difficult to make time for other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We still mostly follow the MU syllabus, it covers all the basic topics of CS and IT field but it is still very far away from the real world applications. There are two exams in a semester : Mid Term and End Sem Exam ,both are of medium difficulty.

The First Year was wonderful as the faculty is same for every branch and the HOD as of 2021-25 Vivek Sir is fabulous, Humour and he creates a very healthy and encouraging environment to support the students.
The Hostel is superb. Mess is included in 2.1 lakh fees of Hostel ... ( MESS AND ACCOMODATION can be taken together only ) , there is no option to save money on mess as it's compulsory.

Dislikes

Coming to 2nd year every student is assigned to their branch and from here , your branch becomes your family ( mine was computer engineering which was very toxic and I never liked the HOD of this branch Dr. Nupur Giri (Dada Giri) she has huge EGO )
The worst part is for boys Hostel is available for only 2 years.. ie first and second year only. Also you can't directly apply for hostel in second year as the students of 1st year is only accommodated previously

Course Curriculum Overview:

25 to 30% of the curriculum is decided by the institute and the rest is followed as of University this is done because our institute VESIT has become autonomous in 2023. The curriculum has potential as there are many projects which is early for computer engineering branch and many project half yearly for information technology branch only this subject helps the students to gain industrial level performance because year the learning is d 100% by the student itself so the college has nothing to do except than mentor the students. Tera various improvements needed in the curriculum but it cannot be change abruptly because of the guidelines given by the University other teaching method is quite good as there is 4 months of academic for every semester and 2 months of semester break. The frequency of exam is quite good as there is a metam test followed by a gap of 1 month for viva/practicals and then a gap of 15 days for the and end sem exam. Now expts of printed rather thn handwritten

Faculty and teaching staff is very good, marking scheme is balanced, topics are revised to suite market standards.
College has good discipline record also embraces discipline around campus to make sure no student is engaged in any wrong or illegal activity

Dislikes

Low placements and below average packages
Not inlcusion of internships which are essential in enginnering.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curricullum is revised but it still lacks bit of difficulty and core concepts which help in deep understanding of concepts also helps a student to have a project based research approach towards it.
