VESIT Admission 2024 is open based on CET entrance exams and CAP counselling. The CET Cell has started Maharashtra CAP counselling for various degree courses offered at VESIT. The latest updates are:
- MHT CET 2024 counselling registration has started for B.Tech courses at VESIT. The last date to register for counseling is July 24 (till 5 PM). Candidates can register online @cetcell.mahacet.org.
- CAP counselling registration for M.Tech courses is also open. The online counselling registration and document verification is open till July 17.

Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology also known as VESIT or V.E.S. Institute of Technology was established in the 1984 in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is currently affiliated with the University of Mumbai.
Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology offers three courses at UG and PG level. The undergraduate courses are Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BE Lateral. As far as postgraduate courses are concerned, the college offers Master of Engineering (ME) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
- The eligible candidates will have to appear in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for admission in BE program.

- MY college, is one of the best colleges in mumbai because they have great infrastructure along with good classrooms and a very beautiful garden where we can chill and hangout.
- The college also has a very bug Amphitheatre where almost all events of the college are held, these events are really great i know it fronthand because i was the cultural Secretary there for an year.

The admission process for me was quite simple, i had availed 94.5 percentile in my CET exams and i got the admission through the official process through 2nd CAP round of admission, and the even the admission process in college was quite simple as we were being informed what to be done and where too go for various processes properly.

For any field in the engineering course(Bachelor in Engineering), a student can either take admission on the basis of his/her MHCET or JEE scores. The student has to follow the Maharastra college counseling while applying for the college.

- The very first thing i liked in my college is the faculty, they are friendly and that's why they can clear our doubt very well i you asked.
- Library is the another thing i like because you can study in the library very well since there are air conditioners, cleanliness, pc as well
Dislikes
- I dislike in my college is the entrance, they can have better entrance as your college is located in the Mumbai region you expect something better
- College daily timing my 2nd sem college timings was from 8.30 to 3.30 which is too much it should get reduced

Eligibility for the course is you have to be pass from pcm and other subjects in 12th and you should get above than 98% ile for cs in cet Talking about reservations there is no reservation in marks but definitely there is reservation in fees and seats While taking admission you will be guided very well by faculty they helped me lot when i was taking admission and also they solved my problems so in the admission process 10 on 10 for the faculty

- The campus is huge so all the basic amenities like wifi, canteen, xerox shop, playground, turf, indoor games room etc is available to all the students. The labs are also big and every labs have good working computers.
- The faculty teaches effectively because they posssess deep knowledge of their subjects.
Dislikes
- Some of the instruments or kits in the labs are not properly functioning
Admission:
The students must give MHT CET examination and have a good percentile of at least 85 and above to get into the course. The application is done through government CAP rounds only. Students can do enquiry about the process on the website of vesit.ves.ac.in. The college is a sindhi minority college so 51% is the sindhi quota. Remaining 49% is for non sindhi students. The seat is given on the basis of credit and examination score. Management quota is not available at the college.

- College Atmoshphere and culture, peers along with teachers all are good and supportive
- Infrastructure is good too, labs, classrooms and lift services are there

- Campus area is too small. Student sometimes need to relax with friends so. Comparatively its less
- Circulum is quite good. But i though feel that some thins need to improvised .
Admission:
Student with 10+2 in subjects including math, chemistry and physics can apply. The cutoff for non-minority students is 98 percentile and above and for minority students is 79 and above. The college provides 50% seats for minority students which is a great benefit.College being autonomy now the difficulty of exams is reduced.

- There is a good balance of studies and extra curicular activities.
Dislikes
- After the college has become autonomous ,it has become very hectic.
- The minimum 75% attendence criteria makes it difficult to make time for other activities.

Most of the information related to admission can be found on the colleges' website. The college gives admission according to your score in MHT-CET and college does not has its own entrance exam .The admission process was smooth

- The First Year was wonderful as the faculty is same for every branch and the HOD as of 2021-25 Vivek Sir is fabulous, Humour and he creates a very healthy and encouraging environment to support the students.
- The Hostel is superb. Mess is included in 2.1 lakh fees of Hostel ... ( MESS AND ACCOMODATION can be taken together only ) , there is no option to save money on mess as it's compulsory.
Dislikes
- Coming to 2nd year every student is assigned to their branch and from here , your branch becomes your family ( mine was computer engineering which was very toxic and I never liked the HOD of this branch Dr. Nupur Giri (Dada Giri) she has huge EGO )
- The worst part is for boys Hostel is available for only 2 years.. ie first and second year only. Also you can't directly apply for hostel in second year as the students of 1st year is only accommodated previously
Admission:
Mostly students can take admission through the marks or the percentile scored in mhtcet exam and JEE mains exam you will be allocated the college through the cap around of mhtc also it is a Sindhi minority college with 51% of the seat being reserved to only sindhi's and rest according to the normal cast system reservation. The admission process and the payment of fees process is seamless as it is very simple and online and for ACAP round through DD.

- Faculty and teaching staff is very good, marking scheme is balanced, topics are revised to suite market standards.
- College has good discipline record also embraces discipline around campus to make sure no student is engaged in any wrong or illegal activity
Dislikes
- Low placements and below average packages
- Not inlcusion of internships which are essential in enginnering.
Admission:
To be eligible for the cpurse you need to clear MHTCET/JEE cut-off for the college which is quite simple, application is done online via college portal and admission form is filled offline through CAP rounds. College has no management or internal quota for admissions. Exams are not very frequents but assignments and projects are. Exams are divided in three- 1 Unit Test, 2 End sem exams, 3 Practical exams.
