The tution fee was consistent throughout the entirety of four years and only had small increases. The entire cost of my education was around 2.2 lakhs as I had a scholarship. the name of my scholarship was Rajshri Shahu Maharaj and is available to everyone coming under the EBC category.

The total fee on average for all 4 years per year would be around Rs.1,18,000 which seems pretty affordable however they offer 50% EWS relaxation at the college In my final year, we had a project on campus where I got to work with research students and understand industry-level software like Cadence

The fees for general student is around 1.2-1.4 Lakhs per year. The students of other categories have comparatively less amount as their annual fees. The eligible students can take a scholarship from MAHADBT site and we have a scholarship team which notifies the students about the date of application, documents needed, etc. through emails and WhatsApp messages. There aren't any campus employment available while you are a student at the campus but once students graduate, they can secure a good salary job through the campus placements.

The total fees for a male general student would go around 6 lakhs as yearly it is around 1 lakh 25 thousand. But there are ample scholarships provided by the college to reserved caste studentss and for the general, theres the ebc scholarship available too.

The fees here is not so high as compared to other college in mumbai, the scholarship availability for EBC and reservation students are available which make the students to pay the half fees Or depends how much is the fees deducted
The annual fee is 1,16,000. Though through various scholarships the EBC students can reduce their fees to 66,000.While the students selected through TFWS have to only pay 16000. Maha-DBT scholarship can also be availed for CAP students. The college gives several internship opportunities and conducts various skill-improving programs. Almost 95 percent of students get placed every year.
If we have to compare the fees of my college I can say this is the most affordable fees structure. If I compared to other college they have more 20-25% from our college. Fees hike is also a minimum I have seen in the last four among all colleges. And placements are also good. I don't have more idea about Campus job as I haven't heard .
The fee structure is right as all colleges have the same fee structure and there are many college events and scholarships! The fees do not have like meagerly hike in the fees structure! Probably many companies come for a job interview!
Having known some people studying in these colleges, I can tell you that both colleges are really good in their own ways. But, you should consider the following before you make any decision:
Categories | EE at KJ Somaiya | ETC at Vivekananda (MU) |
Course Fee | 13.50 lakhs | 4.52 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 12 LPA | 9-10 LPA |
Average CTC | 5-8 LPA | 4.5 - 5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | L&T, TCS, Phillips, Schneider Electric, etc. | JP Morgan, Tata Power, Mercedes, Microsoft, etc. |
Both the colleges are even. It will finally depend on where your interests lie and what you would like to do. Find out if you are more interested in telecommunications or just core electronics, then choose accordingly.
Electronics will teach you more about electronic components, circuits and other basic ideas that might be required in general electronics. Telecommunications will only give you a deeper understanding of communication technologies.
