Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is following curriculum of Apj Abdul Kalam technological University. It strictly follows all the guidelines of University. Actually i was Passionate about computer science and took this course. But when came to reality the curriculum of ktu is not up to the mark. Certain changes need to be adopted on this curriculum to make students more professional. The ktu is following a tight schedule. It's saying that a semester is 6 months. But actually for ktu it's 3 months. Within 3 months, University conducts 2 series internal examination,1 internal lab examination and 1 University exam.

Class Size : 1000Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Sem -7th sem placement training Companies visiting -UST, Infosys,ospyn,impaqtive, sutherland,speridian Highest lpa-4.6,avg lpa-3.9. students placed 40percebtage. My plan is to look onto placement or masters

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I took admission through keam, my tuition fee was 50 k + University fee which around 7500. The fee for thr students who took admission through management is 65 k+ University fee. But the fee differs for each branch. Biomedical engineering And food technology is having more feed as compared to other branch in our college.

Campus Life :

The college used to conduct arts called regalia every (year most probably between feb -may)and conducts Christmas, Onam, women's day, Union Day etc. Then rest no programs are there. The college is having a nice Library with a good availability of books. All classrooms have projectors of their own and the teacher uses projector most of the time. The lab facilities of the college is so nice. All labs are renovated now with high end specification PC's. The college use to conduct sports day Every year and used to conduct games like football,volleyball, cricket etc. The college is having variety of newly formed clubs such as literary and magazine club,coding club,quiz club, data science club etc

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is 10+2 graduation in science stream. The college is taking admission through keam and management seats. The last rank for admission in computer science and engineering through Keam exam was 29k. Management is also providing seats. I took admission through keam and the admission process was smooth. The college fix few days for admission through keam and we have to come on that particular day. We need to pay the annual fee which was 50k for me. The fee for management seat differs from branch to branch

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
