Likes
- It is a Government sponsored institution. Hence it accepts students from all socio-economic backgrounds. The fees is comparatively low.
- There are a lot of opportunities to study and learn. There is a very big library with many resources accessible to all students.
Dislikes
- The campus is quite small. The ground and building are small.
- The teachers while being experienced may not provide the best training.
Placement Experience:
Students can appear for campus placements starting from final year. Big companies such as Cognizant, Oracle, Quest Global, Tata Elxi recruit from the college. Biotechnology students also get placement offer from Zifo. The highest package was around 10 lpa. Mechanical students also get placed in fields of their interest.

- Top recruiting companies like TCS,infosys,UST,tata elxi and many companies visit here for placement.
- There is even a abank and postoffice inside the college.Faculty members are well qualified and have good teaching skills.
Dislikes
- Very few teachers are actually committed to the growth of a student.
- Most recruiters are from the IT sector.only a few other core recruiters visit here
Placement Experience:
Top recruiter like tata elxi,infosys,UST,TCS visit our college for placements.But mos of the recruiters are from it field and only a few other core companies visit here.The average salary paackage offered is aroun 5 - 6 lakhpa.Our college also offers mtech courses.
Likes
- The college has a great crowd, lots of good people and has a lot of extra curricular activities
- The faculty are very helpful and strive to make children learn rather than remember things
Dislikes
- Too much politics sometimes disrupts classes and we miss a few modules from syllabus
- Small campus, no playgrounds other than a basketball ground
Internships Opportunities:
There is only 1 internship opportunity given by TATA ELIXSI which give a stipend of 10k per month in the final semester. Other than that there is no internship. We have to submit a project at the end of the course which is to be evaluated by people from outside.
Likes
- Minimum 75 percentage attendance policy allows us to get into only the necessary classes
- A Basketball and badminton ground which facilitates after-college games
Dislikes
- Most of the teaching faculty have a lackadaisical approach
- The uncleanliness of the washrooms which causes a sticky smell
Placement Experience:
For the last few years the placement has been pretty bad. Last year, the highest on campus package was around 7 LPA. Although our college has a history of getting placements from Amazon, such companies has not come in years. The companies that usually come for placement are TCS, Tata Elxsi and some startups namely. My plan after the degree is to get a off campus placement inot a high paying software developer position
Likes
- The quality environment for studying including the infrastructure , and campus amenities including laboratories.
- No strict uniform or dress code to be followed
Dislikes
- Absence of a spacious playground for sports activities.
- Less space of the college campus is a problem
Internships Opportunities:
Internship opportunities are not rarer in our college. The faculties are very supportive in getting an internship. A lot of my seniors got internships in organisations including the Cochin Harbour, The Indian Railways , Keltron etc . Mechanical engineering student can easily get internship in KSRTC as it is a collage under their department .

- Infrastructure and Development in the college
- Cultural Activity one of the best in college
Dislikes
- Teaching is very average and not spoonfed
- Very less space but has very good vibe around the college
Internships Opportunities:
Internship opportunities are very nice. From Air India to TCS they give very exceptional opportunities and good internship outcomes around. They also encourage students to get into internship and are very encouraging.
Likes
- Campus atmosphere is very nice. Although it is small but gives a positive vibe overall
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is very minimum. Not enough facilities are available
Internships Opportunities:
Our college provides less internship. If we want to do internships we should find ourselves some internship. I find it justifiable then only we will be aware of the newer techniques and technologies in the market
Likes
- The campus life of SCTCE is something which any other college can give to us.
- The technical and cultural fest of the college are memorable things.
Dislikes
- The space constraints of the college is an issue which limits the potential of the college
Internships Opportunities:
The college will approach many companies and then they will provide us with internships with a stipend and finally, they will recruit the students with the best performance. The selection criteria will be the final project they are submitting after the internship.

- College : Beautiful atmosphere for studies and cocurricular activities
- Campus Life : Can enjoy alot in the campus as you wish along with your studies
Internships Opportunities:
There are several internship offers available from the college. Internship with the KSRTC office and manufacturing areas in our college is the main internship-providing programme in our college. Also, interns can work in the manufacturing of go karts and KSRTC manufacturing in related to college Now there is an EV KSRTC BUS manufacturing programme which is conducted by SCT faculties and students itself going on in our college

- The freedom we were given. No one would etheet try to command you or rule you.
- The library was very vast with a lot of books.
Dislikes
- Some teachers are not very friendly on certain things.
- There is no good football ground for students.
Internships Opportunities:
Internships are available in our college based on performance. Government internships are provided to the best students. Titanium, advent, isro, and Alert are some of the companies that provide internships.
