The candidates need to be an Indian National.
A valid CEE Rank
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.
Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 45% marks in the case of Mathematics and 45% marks in the case of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes need only a pass in the qualifying examination
Applicant should complete 17 years of age.

Eligibility for Management Quota:

The candidates need to be an Indian National.

The college has a great crowd, lots of good people and has a lot of extra curricular activities
The faculty are very helpful and strive to make children learn rather than remember things

Dislikes

Too much politics sometimes disrupts classes and we miss a few modules from syllabus
Small campus, no playgrounds other than a basketball ground

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very old, the syllabus hasn't been updated in years and we study things from early 2000s. But the faculty make sure to keep us up to date and help with what's required in the industry.

My college comes under Kerala Technical University abbreviated as KTU. It put forwards skill based education but mostly fails in providing the skills necessary for the students. Exams are done for namesake and the paper correction procedure is way too lazy. You cannot build a proper foundation with KTU

The campus life of SCTCE is something which any other college can give to us.
The technical and cultural fest of the college are memorable things.

Dislikes

The space constraints of the college is an issue which limits the potential of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course Automobile engineering due to my intent in automobiles from a very small age.SCT is the best college that offers automobile engineering in Kerala. The faculties in the college are very cooperative and friendly. They are always available for any sort of help we need. All the professors are qualified well and many of them are doctorate holders and the teaching method of everyone is unique. Some of the methods are good and some are not much great. the terms exams are many at a time and the difficulty of passing the exam was moderate.

Campus Life : Can enjoy alot in the campus as you wish along with your studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mechanical automobile engineering as I am enthusiastic about automobiles and related technologies. There are plenty of other courses like mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, biotechnology, Mechanical Production Engineering etc. There are plenty of eligible faculties with respect to students studying like min 1 faculty for 30 students I guess the Faculties are well qualified, hold various Phds and have many years of experience in their teaching field. Analysing the Teaching method, overall it's good There are sem exams after the completion of each semester. In between two series of exams will be conducted so as to analyse the internal marks. Internal and semester exams are somewhat easier to get passed comparing to other degrees

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Govt fees is 35000-40000 per year. Management quota is 65000-70000 per year and Nri quota is 100000-110000 per year. Campus placement in the campus is much high when compared to other colleges. Leading placement companies are Infosys, TCS, Tala Elxsi, Oracle, Byjus. I got job in Byjus with an Annual Salary of 7 lakh per annum.

The merit seat fees are feasible, NRI and management seat fees are bit expensive so better write the entrance exam to get placed. NRI and management seats does not require entrance exam score to get admission.

The fee structure is feasible compared to private colleges it is actually a government college having both merit seat and management seat which comes under self financing college under government in my opinion the structure is feasible I literally you can enjoy everything in the college for studies and for events also

Fee structure is feasible. It will be 35k for a government seat and 65k for management seat. We have an additional NRI seat for those are coming from abroad. They will be selected based on their 12th marks. We also have a government transportation seat available which is limited in number.
