It's a good course. This semester was short and the syllabus was still same and there were no consideration on us students. So giving us time to prepare and hone our skill is an area of improvement. In upcoming years there will be enough subjects to understand and know the course really well. There are labs which will help us to home our skills and develop skills that are useful for jobs.

My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering. It is a good course to select and has more scope in future aspects. But our syllabus is a kind of old. Most of the Fisrt year subjects are not relevant to our course.

Considering present scenarios in the industry 30% of the topics in curriculum are not that helpful, but it sure does aid to shaping one's technological domain. But overall it can definitely be said that the curriculum prepares us but other skills in addition to it can guarantee success.

My course Electronics and communication engineering is actually good and have many scope for future jobs. But the thing our syllabus is bad . Lots of unnecessary subjects have put in first year. Our semester schedule is very tight . We couldn't even enjoy learning in schedule and the vacation is very small. Exam will held frequently.

Electronics and Communication is a very good course compared to other courses because of many things. EC graduates get placements in both software and hardware field. We get good salary packages. The course is a little bit hard though.

I am in 1st year and my degree is Electronics( VLSI Design & Technology). So I have not yet started learning subjects directly relevant to my stream. 1st year consists of learning subjects that are common to everyone, to build a good foundation. There are some subjects which have no relevance to daily life, and they don't require to be studied by Electronics engineering students. Subjects like engineering graphics, mechanics, civil and mechanical engineering are not topics that will be applied in daily life, and they don't prepare you to face the real world. On the other hand, C-programming which is only introduced in the 2nd semester is more useful for a 1st year student. In the 1st semester the timing of exams feels sudden, and we have to slowly adapt ourselves to it. Often, internal exams are not given a break, all exams of 5 or 6 subjects are conducted back to back. And when the semester end nears, all the assignments, 2nd internal and lab exams seem to happen at a stretch.

We are being taught the most relevant and new concepts. The faculty has also updated their knowledge to the relatively new topics that are being taught right now. New books are coming in every month to help the students by providing them with the tools and resources to understand the concepts in depth.

The college cones under APJKTU. The syllabus has got some shortcomings and focuses more on the theory part. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. They have got immense contacts with the industry people who help us out with our training.
