It easily and clearly includes all the fundamentals of the course along with labs for letting the students get an idea of what they might encounter in industries. The curriculum is good but still has some rough edges and portions where improvements could be brought . The 1st YEAR course could be improved a little more by including practicals that are in accordance with the current developed equipments and technology. As far as teaching is concerned it's more bookish and saponified to the best . Going indepth on the topics and better explanation could be brought up to keep the logic seeking mind of students engaged . The difficulty of the exams are quite ok and properly timed exams will be much appreciated (according to the calder).
The faculty : student ratio of each department of the college is pretty fair. The professors are experts in their fields as most of them are PhD holders. The exams are strictly conducted as scheduled by the KTU.
Fee is Feasible Admission fee is around 11000 and which includes library fee, Bus Fee, Laboratory Fee and all other facilites assecible for students Tution is 8000 per year and is given to college as offline mode And 3000 as exam fees for each semester and is given to the university this can give both offline and online modes
The semester fees vary slightly due to the variety of subjects offered in the course but is generally very feasible considering the facilities provided. Being a govt college comes with it's perks and the semester fees along with the examination fees comes at around a maximum of Rs. 7000 for the general category students. Allotment fees is initially paid to the government which comes at around Rs. 8225. The college provided complete transparency in the fee structure and provides huge incentives for students with reservation.
This is a government college. In my year the yearly fee was around 5800 rupees per year i remember. There will be a additional expense less than 10000 when you join. Hostel rent is just 200 per month and mess fee will be around 2000 if you take full day. There is no additional fee for chemical engineering and fee structure is fully transparent and clear.
Joining through KCET we have to pay 98800. Joint through COMEDK we must pay 2. 5 lakhs. Joining through management quota we must pay 4. 5 lakhs. Bus fees are moderate(20000). Good fee structure. Manageable by middle class families
Fee only less than 7000 per year since this is Government funded institution. It is very feasible. everybody can afford and even this fee will be refunded in different scholorship scheme. Hostel fee will be separately billed as per their income and reservation.
Being a government college the fee structure is fixed by the government. It is around Rs.8000 per semester. Apart from this the semester exam registration fees is about 1600 for each semester. Thus the fees are very much feasible
Feasible. Since it is a government college, the fees required is very low and the quality provided is top notch. Students from all walks of life come to the college . But for an average economically balanced student, fee is definitely feasible.
As it is a government college, the fee structure is very feasible and students are categorized based on their caste and annual income of the family. So I would say the fee structure is very student friendly and affordable.
You should have a clear idea of what you are going to pursue after the four years. This way you can focus on a particular college accordingly for your undergraduate degree.
The only disadvantage that NIT Calicut has is the weak alumni network due to the newly formed campus as compared to GEC Thrissur.
Along with the placements, the brand name of NIT when added to your resume can help you immensely for your future professional life. So think twice and consider all the factors before taking final admissions.
