The surrounding of BIT Sindri has a lot of greenery allowing students a great place to relax their minds. As for access to things, you can easily get the necessary things such as books, notebooks, snacks, photocopy shops, etc. right in front of the main gate of BIT Sindri. However for things such as blankets, pillows, and tin boxes (baksha), then for you have to go to Seharpura market which is approximately 2km away from the college. You can easily find an auto for that and its fare costs Rs 15 (one side), here you find some good cafes. In Seharpura, there is also a park (TATA Park) which is good to visit at weekends.As for healthcare, private clinics are available in Seharpura, however for serious health issues you need to go to Dhanbad which is about 22 Km away. The most important part is the low fees making BIT Sindri very affordable to students.
