Course Curriculum Overview :

Dyal singh college is a part of Delhi university and in Delhi university we can have the best exposure in studies as well as in extra activities as the diversity is so huge and this made me choose this university and my course. Teachers should not speed up the syllabus because this effects the students a lot. Our exams are of 1 hour 30 min.

Internships Opportunities :

There is a good chance for the students to get good internships because of the connections our college have and some of the companies like bank of Baroda also approached . Our college have a cell which is called the placement cell which is very active in our college and helpful to students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So basically in our college the fees structure for my course depends on the year. Like for the first year the fees is approx 16550 INR, but in second year it was approx 11550 INR, and in the third year it was approx 13550 INR . So basically it revolves between 10-16 thousand but exam fees is not included in this. There are many opportunities for intership in our college as college have some societies which directly focuses on the placements and internships and because of this students get a good support. Societies like comhum which is a commerce society, xposure science society, these all societies help students for there internship .

Campus Life :

Our annual college fest name was Priyadarshini. Our fest was pretty famous back then because it was a big event and top Indian artists were called for the students. And our college being so huge it can take a large amount of students together. Our library is also Pretty decent as we can go and study there and max of the required books are available there. Basketball court of our college is best because it was constructed recently

Admission :

My first goal was to get Delhi university north campus . But I already knew about dyal singh college which is in south campus . This college have the best location of Delhi and when I didn't score well to get north campus , my first preference after that was dyal singj college because my college is pretty famous for science and commerce courses

Faculty :

So we never felt that teachers are not taking class or their ratio is less . They are pretty helpful but some teachers are also rude and they are like u mind your own business which sometimes feel bad . But on the other hand there are some teachers which take students personally and help them and this is the best blessing we students can have. Our exams are pretty difficult as it includes practical which are headaches. There are total of 7 exams for first and second year and 5 for third year

Other Applied Colleges

Hindu College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

I was not able to score for that college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). It includes biochemistry, botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Placement Experience:

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

Admission:

After i saw the cut off list and observed that I am eligible to take admission in this college, I went to the college. Filled up the admission form and submitted to Jain sir after which my documents were verified and then i submitted my fees and that's how I got admitted in this college.
