The senior here are the best they helped us in every situations.
The teaching methodology followed by the faculty here is very good.

Dislikes

I hate the 75% compulsary attendance rule , which is not waived off for any reason no matter what the reason is.
I hate the fact that there is a shortage of classrooms and hostel accomodation for newer students.

College placements are very good in our college as the placement cell is very active and responsive and as our college offers 14 lpa package with many big companis comming around in our college and offering good placements

Faculty is very good and they will clarify all the doubts regarding subject
For playing cricket, volleyball, badminton ground is there

Dislikes

Food is very bad for South India students
Since college is there outside the nagpur city transport facility is little bad

The placements are very the highest packege is 90lpa and average package is 8.5lpa and 90 percentage of students have got placed remaining 10 percentage students go to ms by applying visa and writing exam GRE for America

From 7th semester all the students will be eligible for the campus placements . Both international and domestic companies will visit for the recruitments in this institute. Almost 90 percentage of the students in the campus will get placed.

The teachers most of them are friendly and the classes provided are not that great but still ok. they try to convey the classes in english so kudos to them.
The shop that is available inside the campus offers most of the soft drinks and packet food.

Dislikes

The college is located inside a nowhere land.
The canteen offers food in much higher rate compared to other venders.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester onwards i think students will attend the placements i think. The no of companies visiting are mostly from maharashtra so you know it. Highest package is obtained not from campus placement it was obtained by the student from outside campus.The average package is 4 lpa. Ithink almosst 80% are getting placed, if you want you can refer to the college website. My plan is to get into a goverment sector that too in the same field as what i have studied.

The classrooms are very good with air conditioners .
The greenery in the college is also good..

Dislikes

The sports here is very bad no proper facilities..
The ground is also very bad with no proper courts..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I basically don't have any interest in this , I just joined due to my low percentile .. The curriculum in the college is quite good .. Some teachers are more than expected and some can improve themselves.

Placaments are good considering new college. average package is close to 14 lakhs per annum which is good and highest package was also 90 lakhs per annum. Amazon,google ,goldman sachs are some companies which visited our college

Here greenery is good which is attracting for first view.
Peers are good in study and competition is quite good enough .

Dislikes

Here Infrastructure - Utmost unfavourable for students - need more and more development .
In out skirts of city which takes 40-60 nintues to reach city.

Placcement is ony beautiful criteria on which students come here mostly . Placement - average package - 14.5 lpa Highest - 90 lpa Placment cell here is quite guiding and Good . 85-90% of Students get placed (Off campus + In campus)

I like teaching style because there are many well trained teachers
Got permanent campus which includes hostel building and many more.

Dislikes

I dont like the mess food of the hostel because it is tasteless

I am in the est course of this college which is computer science and engineering in which I feel that the teaching is very best but some subjects which are not important for us but they teach us by which some pressure inside the brain. But in the conclusion I say it is the best teachers in iiit nagpur

IIIT Nagpur through the lens of a fresher

Our college has one of the best coding cultures in India.
The overall interaction of juniors and seniors is pretty good. No ragging or bullying here and if someone is found guilty of ragging he/she is punished accordingly.

Dislikes

The campus life is not that exciting because of very limited facilities provided in the college premises. Sports activities are also very limited
The location of college is not good. It is quite far from the main city and it takes at least 45 mins to reach main city.

Placement Experience:

Despite being a new establishment our college has a pretty decent placement record, with an average package of 14lpa for CSE branch. Many companies like Amazon, Goldmann Sachs, NVIDIA,etc come to our college. Our active training and placement cell ensures excellent on campus placement opportunitites, with over 90% of students securing placements.
