The senior here are the best they helped us in every situations.
The teaching methodology followed by the faculty here is very good.

Dislikes

I hate the 75% compulsary attendance rule , which is not waived off for any reason no matter what the reason is.
I hate the fact that there is a shortage of classrooms and hostel accomodation for newer students.

the internet facility is very good. there are lan ports in every room, which gives approx 300 mbps speed.
the majority faculty is good and knowledgeable, in their respective domain.

Dislikes

some clubs are dead and music club does not have proper instruments.
sports infrastructure in very poor and no proper equipments.

Placement Experience:

commenting on present scenario the placement is poor due to ressession. after 3rd year some companies might offer ppo after internship. 30-40 companies visited 40-50 percent student got placed. my plan is to get good placement study hard, i am doing coding with dicipline.

College is life is good Coding culture is also great.
You can see student from different part of the india.

Dislikes

Fees are relaticely high for myself 1 reason this.
Batch of the student is vary large around 700 student every year.

course curriculum is good you can see new course in this college . New course like cloud computing , NLP , artificil Inteligence, You have to not study boring subject like chemistry, physics, maths.

Its a institute of national importance and many events takes place everytime. Good infra structure and well equipped labs .
3 fest Tantra fest( tech fest ) , abhivyakti ( cultural fest ) , and others small fests

Dislikes

Availability of Hostels from every year only 250 people outoff 667 student batch would get rooms in campus and all others have to live outside the campus.
Though people not getting hostel will get rooms in Butibori area , very near to IIIT,Nagpur institute.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for placements and internships. In 2024 168 companies visited and the highest package was 90 LPA and the average package is 14 LPA . 5 students got abroad internships. placements percentage is 82.89%.

Academics at IIIT Nagpur are excellent.Various courses are available such as Computer Science Engineering with multiple Specializations such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning,Data Science and Human Computer Interaction.
College organises two fest mainly named as Tantrafesta and Abhivyakti during October and February.These fests help students gain practical knowledge and Students are given an opportunity to showcase their business ideas and implement them.

Dislikes

College has just 1 Hostel and New comers are not provided hostel facilities.Food of Hostel is of very avg quality.
College has just limited number of academic blocks and with growing number of students infrastructure is not able to handle all the crowd .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are generally avg to good with around 80 percent students from batch are eligible for placements and around 50 percent of eligible students get placed with an package of over 13-14 lakhs.Students are eligible for placements after 5th semester.Around 80-90 percent of eligible candidates get placed every year.I am planning to get a good Placement in the final year of engineering through campus placements.

Academic buildings have clean and Bigger rooms with capavity of 70 students.
Their is AC fitted in the classes and faculty is experoienced too.

Dislikes

Campus has only three buildings and rest is trees and bushes
Food is also not much great and troubles with sports presists.

Placement Experience:

Our college offers placements for the final year students . Average package of our college is 1500000 and highest incampus is around 90 lakhs . about 60 percent students gets placed every year and the number is growing daily.

Enough opportunities for placements and internships
Well designed syllabus according to today's industry

Not enough hostel rooms to accomodate full strength
Mess food is sometimes not good , sometimes they serve half cooked rotis

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester here, around 150 companies visited our college this year and the percentage of students placed was around 50 due to the recession in tech industry. My plans are to land a job via on campus placement after the degree.

Normally in other college professors dont teach properly but in our college most of the professors are good and teaches well.
Our curriculum is quite good compared to other colleges as we are not being taught useless subjects.

Dislikes

ratio of boys tpo girls is very poor of our college
No proper playing ground is provided and fest are also not so grand

Placement Experience:

from 4th year students are eligible for campus placement there are many companies which visit are college like aplhagrep , groww , etc . highest is 47 lpa and lowest is 6 lpa. average is 13.89 lpa. 84% students are placed. i will get placement after degree

The students and the culture of the college. Everyone is helpful and even seniors encourage to do coding or build amazing projects.
The curriculum is immaculate. As it's not like studying PCM in 1st year rather they gave us core subjects and even had 2 compulsory project buliding.

Dislikes

There is just one Hostel which isn't anywhere near enough to accommodate the students. Even the mess food is OKayish.
There are good professors but some are just worse than school teachers and are very much partial too.

Placement Experience:

The placement is all based on the talent of the students. Like last year there was a student with 90 LPA but it was off campus. There were also on campus placed students working currently in Google, AlphaGrep, etc. With recession I can't say anything sure about placements.

The college comprises of a lot of different clubs and helpful seniors who help us in our academics a lot.
Our seniors provide us with different courses for various fields free of cost and they also maintain all the pyqs from past years including their personal notes by creating a server and provide it's access to the students.

Dislikes

One thing that I don't like is the location of the college
It's still under development so there are just a few buildings in the campus

Placement Experience:

Students who are in final year are eligible for placements but the eligibility criteria is provided on the basis of academics and cgpa of the student ,by the companies which visit the campus and institute does not play any role in that . The companies that visited iiit nagpur includes TCS,Cisco,CGI,KPMG and many more ,nearabout 89 percent students where placed in 2023.My plans after getting the degree is to enroll into mba .

Good hostel life my friend is very good and encourage me too.

Dislikes

Campus is very small so not many places to go for a walk

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very rigorous but its an Excellent curriculum for students and most importantly it also provide specifications like computer science core, computer science and data science and analytics, computer science and artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer science with Human computer interaction and gaming technology
