The Faculty professors are good with the students and they always helpful. if any student need to do competitive exams or hackathons they will guide and support . I like Dr. Manojit Ghose & Sumit mishra. They were very punctual and maintain time sense. They were very good with students. Sumit Mishra sir is very helpful in every aspect and he had great bond with students. There is no professor you don't like them, everyone is good on there ways. Per semster there will be mid and end semster exams. They will assign assigments to students to become experts in academics and assigments will evaluate every week. marking scheme will be CGPA. The academic courses as per industry standars. for some courses there will be guest lectures also so students can understand and involve in industry manners.

Most of the facilities are pretty good in their subjects. In my branch which is ECE, the teachers can make you understand the topics well. All the teachers are highly qualified either from IIT NITs or from other reputed colleges.

We can interact with faculties whenever we want each faculty is a phd from several IITs they have cleared the gate and required competitive exams to be there and some faculties teach very well, so the faculty-to-student ratio is good.

Most faculties have done P.hd from IIT's or if from any local government college or such are gold medallist in their respective fields. Faculty to student ratio is 1:17 approximately which is quite good for a typical Indian Institute and most faculties are approachable throughout the day u can just mail them to meet and they will reply within some hours and u can then go to their respective cabins and discuss your problems or doubts

Faculties are really good and cooperative, we can approach our faculties any time between working hours (which is 9 a.m -5 p m.). Way of teaching varies faculty to faculty and there are enough faculties to handle all the students. Apart from academics they also guide us for external contests and opportunities.
Saying about faculty faculty are really very research oriented and doing great in their fields. The faculty to student ratio is very good in this college also where college NIRF ranking is 66 in engineering. Faculty are quite expertise in their subject and hold a good grip on their subject. The lecture are very much designed to give industrial experience and exposure.
Faculties are the best part of this Institute. They're really helpful and approachable whether it's regarding doubts, projects or research. They appreciate student participation and encourage a research atmosphere within the Institute.
I would say that the professors are fairly good. They aren't the best one can get but they are good. The least qualification of each faculty is phd from no less than IIT's. For the important subjects, 3-4 lectures are held per week focusing on theory, 1 lab focusing on problem solving and 1 lab per week for practicing the knowledge. Few of the faculty members are really great with the explanation and all you have to do is attend classes and you can score really good.
The faculty of our college is well qualified. They have themselves completed their engineering and phd degrees from very reputed colleges and the way they teach is very good. Also theya re very friendly and as a result if you go to them with any doubts they welcome you.
It's different for different courses some lectureres are too good some really lack knowledge or the way to teach that topic.Overall it's like in every college in our country you are the who has to work hard learn a lot by yourself rather than expecting from teachers
All the teachers in IIIT Guwahati are very good and are specialized in their own field of expertise. Being a student here, my brother says that every teacher here has their own teaching methodology. Some of the teachers have amazing communication skills while some do not but if you are determined to learn, it becomes easier and interesting.
There are other teachers too who are open to the ideas of students and are encouraging as well as approachable. The CSE department is very fortunate in terms of strong faculty.
When you compare both these colleges for their faculty, in my view, they both have top notch faculty.
For example, IIIT Bhagalpur is also mentored by IIT Guwahati so most students are aware that the faculty and academic environment is good here. As the case with IIIT Lucknow is also similar – where it is being mentored by IIIT Allahabad which is known for its coding culture and is one of the top IIITs across the country, you will not have a reason to doubt the institute.
So, both colleges are equally good as they are being mentored by some of the best institutes in the country and have good faculty.
One of my friends studied at IIIT Guwahati. According to him, you should think of joining IIIT Guwahati. It will be very beneficial especially if you are willing to study Computer Science Engineering at this institute. Finally, all this would completely depend on where your interests lie.

It is true that IIIT Guwahati is a relatively new institute but I will suggest you go for CSE at IIIT Guwahati as compared to NSIT for automation. It is definitely worth joining. You can think for yourself and make a decision accordingly. Good luck.
