The faculty is like a family and helps to solve the problems which are faced by the student so that they can give there best in the exam.
I like college faculty because excellent bond between students and teachers.

Dislikes

They were not flexible and sometimes it used to be very difficult to take some time off of work and then take the exam
It gets very difficult to go from one department to another.

The thing I liked the most is the environment and the way the faculty taught us and support us in many other situations other than study
The another thing I liked the most is that our college can conduct youth parliament and moot court

The infrastructure of the building it should be painted

I think I rate 8 out of 10 because of cpc civil procedure code which is quite tough in law but our college can over the cpc in only one semester due to which we have to face little bit problem and I think they have to improve the course curriculum

Oppertunity for extra curricular activities like sports, dance , singing etc
canteens are there in every block and the food is good and affordable

Dislikes

The hostel rules and regulations are not quite good
The agriculture department is not strong as the field is very small comparatively

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several workshops conducted like hands on traings , many confrence are conducted, they take us out to attend several events , conferences and other events . The exams are conducted at the 5 th month of each sem , internals and class quiz are conducted according before the exams , presentations are taken as a part of curriculum.

The overall environment was very calm, cost, clean and hygenic.
The rooms were Air conditioned and it gave a sense of soothing environment and no noise of fan and other things was there which boosts focus

Dislikes

The university could have focused more on placements part as still 30% - 35% of the batch were unplaced even after course got over.
Parking space and all should have been improved

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay and average. Out of 75 students, 40 got placed and 35 did not. The highest package was 12lpa and the average was around 4lpa. 53-54% of students got placement. Companies visited was- Asian paints tata aig berger paints kotak mahindra bank icici prudential life insurance star health insurance triveni almirah, etc.

My experience as a BCA Stuent at Amity Patna

College Faculty (specifically for BCA Most of them were decent and good)
The girl to boys ratio is 8:40 for BCA,MCA and it is significantly more for BBA and BA LLB

Dislikes

Too much events (completing the syllabus is not important but event is)
Schedule (they notify you 6 hours before exam or practical that there is practical)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is decent like the courses in BCA are good but you have to learn it and can not depend on college to teach you as sometimes 1 module gets completed in one day and too many projects are there with assignments

Great infrastructure and huge are with fully air conditioned classromms and corridors
Great facilities provided compensating the fees

Dislikes

Too crowded around thity three thousand peole
Some wasrroms are not that clean as in library

Placement Experience:

Palacements are great throughout betch for for my course specifically ot is awesome with highest upto 42 and 60lpa and average stands by 12, more than 90 percent gets placed and others are not like they dont get but they continue either family business or start their own

Infrastructure is good as it’s a new university.
Less crowded as compared to other private universities

Dislikes

As it’s a new university, faculty keeps changing and we get to see lots of inexperienced faculties as a result that teach for a few months and go. Some teachers have just done a PHD but have 0 teaching skills
We are not allowed to play in the ground sometimes like during admissions which makes no sense, we are not coming in the way.

Placement Experience:

The other campuses of Amity have an average package of 2.5-3.5 lakh in Btech. But our campus has not yet placed a single person in Btech as it's a 4 year program and first batch would passout in 2025. So we can't say anything about how much would be the packages but yes, we do have good companies coming for placements.

Campus life is very nice with overall ambience and culture of a positive sorroundings
Infrastructure is one of the best, with centrally air conditioned and very well maintaned greenery in the campus.

Dislikes

The location of the campus is a bit rempote and far from the main city and one may end up paying more than required to transport.
The Faculty of the IT department is not upto the mark but teaching pattern and examination style balances the load

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 the internship drives are on in this course and semester 5 the students are selected for placement drives. Some companies which visited are Google, Sap Labs, IBM, amazon, Cognizant, Hp. The highest package offered this year was 6.7 lpa and average was 3 lpa. Around 40% students are placed. I am planning to pursue a masters in CA after this course.

The campus and the infrastructure of the college is really promising it has a lot to provide , Also the washrooms are clean
The faculty are really helpful and will guide us throughout

Dislikes

It is not well coordinated sometimes they just add random classes without informing
The Biometric system also fluctuates sometimes

We need to think about the course content , teaching approach, relevance to my career . For instance, curriculum includes hands on projects, industry- relevant case studies , opportunities for internships and so on In areas for improvement in the course is updated materials and facts , additional support, feedback's from peers can identify the need for improvement

Campus, environment, facilities, security, cooperation, seminars, extra facilities like meetings with industry professionals
Teachers are very helpful and responsive, faculties are great- they teach well

Dislikes

Washrooms could be cleaner and a bit more comfortable for the price
Some of the students are not that good, you have to choose your own group of friends wisely

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as I mentioned before monimum package for MBA is 7lpa and the highest was 26lpa last year. You will be eligible for placements after the 2nd semester. Till now more than 10 companies have visited for the last year's batch. Though amity claims 100% placements but this is not the case. Placements are in your hands from day 1. You should be focused. There is no such percentage guaranteed. It varies. I am planning for higher studies abroad.
