Selection Criteria
-
Admission to all the courses is granted on the basis of a written test as well as an English essay test followed by GD/PI.
- Medium of instruction is English, hence, English is a mandatory subject at 10+2 level.
- Aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in English & three academic subjects (compulsorily including subjects of eligibility AND excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts or any Vocational/Non Written subjects).
- These subjects will only be considered for respective/selected disciplines.
- Admission to all B.Tech programs is based on Amity- Joint Entrance Examination.
- Admission to B.Arch, and B.Plan will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in NATA or JEE (Main Paper 2) or UPSEE.
- Candidates applying for B.Des. and BFA must appear for the Creative Test conducted by the university.
AMITY JEE Exam Pattern:
- Total no. of questions: 90
- Duration of the test: 120 minutes
- 4 marks will be awarde for each correct answer.
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The test will comprise of 4 sections:
- General English: 15 questions
- Physics: 25 questions
- Chemistry: 25 questions
- Mathematics/Biology: 25 questions

Basically what i was expecting from this course before enrolling is not that much but when i got to learn the things it mostly cleared all my doubts and i have a great basic knowledge about the course i opted
Likes
- Infrastructure: The infrastructure in general is modern. All classrooms are equipped with cameras and projectors.
- The faculty members include those with a vast experience as well as younger, inexperienced faculty creating grounds for a vast area of discussions.
Dislikes
- The tuition fee is considered to be quite high.
- The placements are not guaranteed but the departments assist in the same.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is inclusive of quite a lot of practical experiences. The introduction of integrated assignments has helped amalgamate the use of various fields. The frequency and timings of exams is decent.

- Campus and infrastructure is better than any other university. It has everything from well maintained classrooms to labs,huge library,sports facilities and various on campus cafeterias.
- Faculty are well qualified with years of experience . With their knowledge they make teaching relavant to real world applications.They provide mentorship throughout the session which helps students in college life and personal life as well.
Dislikes
- Fees of courses can be little affordable as charging 5% more every year makes it very expensive and puts loads on parents pockets or students who are not that financially well.
- Too much assignments load creates burden on students and can become a major distraction in studies. As every faculty gives 2-3 assignments per semester in every subject which is too much to do while studying.

They design curriculum according to upcoming trends in mind they organise guest lectures various workshops. And also provide students with internships so that students gain on site experience. They also update their curriculum on regular basis which helps in managing with new changing demands. They also insist students to enroll in open elective courses depending course to course which are benificial for students as they help in gaining skill and knowledge about more subjects.

- Hostel - The hostel fees is too high, and they will not let you go out of the campus until and unless you let them talk to your parents.
- Attendance - You need to maintain above 75% attendance or you will get debarred.

Forensic science is an interesting field and a multidisciplinary one that attracted me to choose it. faculty student ratio was average for my course. Faculty qualification varies - from very highly qualified professor to PhD scholar faculty, the quantity of the latter is more.
