Selection Criteria
For MBA: University-based written test as well as an English essay test followed by an interview.
CAT/MAT/GMAT/NMAT/XAT/CMAT qualified candidates can secure direct admission. Non-Sponsored Candiates must score at least 85 percentile in CAT/XAT and the Sponsored candidates must secure 75% to be considered eligible for Direct Admission. In NMAT Non-Sponsored candidates and Sponsored candidates must secure a percentile of 60 and 50 respectively For MAT Non-Sponsored candidates must score 650 (Sponsored candidates must score 600) percentile. For GMAT Score: Non-Sponsored candidates= 550 and Sponsored candidates= 500 For CMAT Score: Non-Sponsored candidates= 200 and Sponsored candidates= 150 For B.PED/M.PED: Student to bring a Medical Fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner. Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose clinical psychology in Amity University as it's one of the best course in the college. Also, the faculty of psychology department is one of the best. Also, the course is very well structured and fantastic.
Likes
- The college has a very good resource of library, you have private cabinets as well as small discussions rooms a good collection of books are stores and the process is hassel free. Everything is online which makes it easier.
- Amity Also has a wide area of playground, Love the swimming pool you can use it everyday, as well as basketball, badminton, arcade and gym. You can easily spend time with friends in canteens or at the ground The fest Is just Amazing
Dislikes
- Attendance is compulsory 75% that becomes a hassel and you have to punch in on time if you miss the time your attendance isnt marked, so thats a bit of a hassel everyone goes through it
Course Curriculum Overview:
My decision was highly based on the curriculum provied by Amity University. I was also interested in the specialization subjects of my interest.A well rounded curriculum that covers the topic in depth and aligns with my career goals as well. The expertise faculty memebers delivering the content and their ability to contextualize theretical knowledge with real-world applications significantly impact the overall learning experience of an individual. It also went beyonf the curriculum since we were assigned to do Internships from the start of our course SEM 1,2,3 It was compulsory to do internship, write your weekly progress as well as a submit a full hard copy of your report and a viva is then taken.Assements methods included oral examination, presentation and class assment as well. We areevaluated based on our interaction, the content we present. The curriculum is well structured all materials are conceise and provided to us at the end of the semester. Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I had always been interested in human behavior and severe mental disorders, and had a keen passion to help and treat people suffering from trauma. The faculty-student ratio can be approximately 1:10. Faculties are highly qualified and have excelled in their particular fields. The teaching method, however, can be a bit improved. The exams were timely, and if the material is studied, thoroughly, passing is not that difficult.

- Management: it follows proper management facilities.
Dislikes
- Few aspects of the curriculum were missing and i think they could have enhanced multiple areas of psychometric testing.
- Teachers attitude: not all the faculties are ready to involve with you and few were not interested in any creative teaching

The curriculum is vast and provides good information regarding the scope of this field. They provide good lectures and seminars. The student ratio is 75:1 and I think it is a bit bigger ratio and can have different sections and not such crowded spaces. The faculty is qualified and have great years of experience. They provide good opportunities and exposure for the same.

I took up this course because I wanted to get into this very field since my school time. The course structure is definitely fantastic. Though, we have 4 sections in this course with 75 students in each section. The course is very lengthy. We have up to 11 subjects in each semester. The faculty is very qualified with a really impressive resume and experience. One of our professors of Physiology is a retired Navy medical officer. Compulsion of taking up a foreign language as a mandatory subject is a huge problem to many of us students as we are here to specialize in a specific subject yet we are told to study something extremely irrelevant from scratch. The syllabus is vast. Examinations are quite lengthy and difficult. Checking exam papers seem fair.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
It is as per industry standards for private university. There are lot of scholarships that you can avail for. But yes, it can be bit expensive for various courses. There is semester wise fee payment option. You have to pay a security fee of 20000 during admission. Apart from that there's no additional charges.

Its pretty expensive i pay 49k for my course which is lesser than the other courses cause the management departments fees is in lacs. 1st Year Non Sponsored Semester Fee (Rs. in Lac) : 0.53 1st Year Sponsored Semester Fee (Rs. in Lac) : 0.795.
