The eligibility criteria for admission to my college is minimum of 60%. the application form is found on any online portal. I'm not sure about the reservation pollice, maybe it has some reservation benefits. no, there are no such types of need for improvements.
The admission process was quite simple and speedy. The students who score above 80% can directly get admitted without any interview. Since I had 79% I had to appear for the interview. I was called for it and asked questions related to agriculture and science. The faculty panel was good and I found the interview easy.
As I had not given the ICAR exam, I applied for agriculture at Amity University. My experience with the admission process was online and it was pretty easy than expected. All you need to do is fill out some forms and if you have scored more than 80% (in 12th) they do not call you for an interview either- you are pretty much in. For those who do get the interview call, you need not panic. It is smooth enough, you will just have to do a few things- a written exam and some professors (of the course you have applied to) will have a one on one interview with you. In the one on one session, you will be asked some questions on your academics, extracurriculars and why did you choose this institute. If you face some difficulty in any step of the admission process, feel free to call the university, they are always there to guide you and they are pretty friendly.
The admission criteria for students were to have above 80% for direct admission and below it then students were required to give an interview and a small written examination. During counselling day there was a small orientation programme that was held mainly for the students and their respective parents and then later the venues were announced for the session.
•I applied for a fisheries course and got selected but since the college was in Kerala I didn't prefer it and then I applied to Amity University. •No, I did not apply for any quota. • The students who completed their 12th were eligible and they should have obtained a minimum of 45% overall and the students who had above 85% were selected directly without any interview and were given scholarship too for the 1st year only. • The admission process was good. We were made to sit in a big auditorium where we were guided then there was one written test then after the written test we were called for PI round. PI round was also good, they will ask questions related to your 12th only.
• I haven't applied for any other colleges, My views were clear about choosing college & I thought Amity institute of organic agriculture is the best option for me. • Amity University provides BSc Agriculture regular courses in multiple specialisations. The regular candidates must have to secure an aggregate of 50% marks in the 10+2 examination from CBSE or any other equivalent board with PCB/PCMB/PCM. • Admission process was pretty easy in Amity however the university take a small entrance test & whoever passes the test can give their interview. After the completion of the interview, students have to wait for 4-5 days to know whether they selected or not. After 4-5 days of the interview, the university sends an offer letter to the candidates who have been selected. Although the entrance test and the interview was pretty easy to crack & hardly very few candidates get rejection.
I availed of non sponsorship quota by answering 3 questions relating to the self introduction and others as current global issues with their practical solution. The minimum marks to apply for MBA (Agriculture and food business) domain must be 60% or above in the graduation. In addition to that matriculate and intermediate qualification is also required with a minimum percentage of 60% and 55% respectively. On the counselling, one is asked few questions, fill the form and submit the fee.
I've applied in B.sc h organic agriculture, AIOA. The admission test and personal interview had conducted in the Admission block. Where they introduced us to the college details. For the MCQ test to be done, then all the students waited in the hall for their turn. They call out the students of the various departments one by one. When my name is called out I went to the interview room and they asked few basic questions.
The admission process was easy and they offer a fee waiver based on your class 12 percentage. But the big disadvantage is being studied through online mode. Its been one year since but due to the ongoing pandemic we had not accessed any practical labs.
I have applied only to Amity University, And i haven't availed any quota i have applied online and then they gave me a date for entrance test(28 may), i was there on the given date for my test first i had an English test (objective) then there is a personal interview in which they had asked basic questions related to the field and some. Conceptual questions based on intermediate class.
