Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time Diploma Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and 50% of marks in Science, Mathematics (or Advanced Mathematics) and English taken together for GEN/OBC candidates (relaxed upto 5% of marks for ST/SC/PWD candidates).

Entrance Exam:

The candidate has to clear the CITEE entrance examination followed by counseling at CIT, Kokrajhar or the second way is to appear in Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) conducted by Director, State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Guwahati, Assam

Age Limit:

The age of the candidates as on 1^st August in the year of admission must not exceed the following age limit for different categories-

GEN/OBC-19 years
SC/ST/PWD-24 years
Female Candidates-22 years

Reservation:

Reservation policy followed by the institute is:

60% from BTAD (60% ST, 5% SC, 15% OBC and 20% General)
20% from North-East region excluding BTAD.
17% from All India excluding North-East Region
03% for physically handicapped candidates.

I see we've very good Faculties available in our institute.
The Institute Infrastructure is Developed enough.

Dislikes

As said the infrastructure of our institute is developed enough but some have very low.
Getting Mark sheet very lately, we get it like after 2-3 months after.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I have selected is Computer Science and Engineering, in my institution the curriculum for a diploma student like me is quite good enough. The course curriculum should be made like for the updated technologies that are being used by now.
