- There are so many events going on all around the gear which makes the life at nift a little less hectic and enjoyable. There are dance clubs, music clubs and other clubs too. The seniors here are so helpful and they're ready to help you anytime you w
- The faculty, the best part of nift is it's faculty, the teachers are super experienced and can give you so much insights about anything you ask them.
- The campus is beautiful has a lot of greenery and it's so much fun. We have a subject called lecture series in which karigars comes to our classes and teach us about their crafts, not just karigars but also lawyers, entrepreneurs
Dislikes
- The mess food, it's soooo bad I don't even eat many times
- The life here is so hectic, most of the times you're sleep deprived
- I've heard that jury members sometimes tore the assignments of students during jury
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm in foundation year right now and they teach us literally everything from crocheting to Photoshop.
The amount of hecticness and assignments prepares you for the challenges faced in industries. You get handy with so much work and learn time management.
We don't have written exams but we have jury every sem where our work is judged by jury members

- In NIFT, you have freedom of Expression to express your thoughts, opinions and views.
- The faculty is very well experienced here, their teaching methods are very effective and they do guide every child very well.
- The course curriculum is very well decided.
Dislikes
- The boys to girls ratio is very low in here its 1:10 boy to girl ratio here
- The campus size is very small as compared to other campuses of nift
- The fee structure is very high.... Quite unaffordable for middleman
Placement Experience:
NIFT Kolkata provides campus placements. Semester 8 students are eligible to sit for the campus placement. Companies such as infosys, aditya birla group, zara, pantaloons come to offer jobs in their companies. The highest package offered is 12-13 lakhs and the average salary is 6-7 lakhs. Almost 50% of the students get placed every year. After getting the degree everyone desires to get a job.

- The campus of Banglore is very small compared to other campuses
- mess food is very bland but at the same time it’s costly
- Some teachers teaching method is not very helpful
Course Curriculum Overview:
They don't have written assignments, we only have assignments and jury, and there is practical study more than theory, it prepares you really well for the real world and actually teaches you how hard it is to be a designer we have assignments every week which has marks and 1 jury every semester

- At a very nice place, the weather, the mountains, the area.
- The faculty is so much educated and experienced, their teaching methods is good.
- The infrastructure is so beautiful 😍 and their is a social interaction with others.
Dislikes
- I dislike that sometime the college is very far
- There is a language barrier sometimes with people.
Placement Experience:
From 8th semester the students are eligible for the placement and internship is for atleast 4 months before final exams.
The companies which come our MANISH MALHOTRA, FLIPKART,AMAZON, WIPRO. 85% of the students gets placement. My plans after degree are to get a job and experience and later have my own business.

- The teaching methods aren’t great, expectations weren’t met
- The food is not great. It’s mostly the same menu every day
- The facilities can be improved for the overall benefit
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in the final semester,.i.e, semester 8. Different companies dealing with various streams visit colleges, providing a number of offers. For example, Reliance, Titan, Samsung and other smaller companies depending on the vacancies. The average package would be 3,00,000 - 6,00,000 and the highest would be 17,00,000- 18,00,000. Almsot 30% - 50% students get placed and get an average package.
I plan to pursue my masters after the degree.

- I like the way there are different guest facilities for some new and interesting subjects
- If you decide to live in the hostel that will definitely benefit you as there will be people who will be available for you to work with
- You won’t have the academically pressure that you’ll feel in other colleges, the submission dates are pretty considerate
Dislikes
- I honestly don’t think there’s anything to dislike about this college
- We don’t have availability of stationary nearby or in the campus
- There is very less accessiblility to things like taxis and autos
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are available from 3rd year. I have yet not completed any internships but I hope to do them soon. The highest package one of the students got was of ?2lakhs and there are several students who got admissions out of India that too with scholarships. My plans after the degree is to go out of India for exposure too and to do my masters degree aswl

- Diversity in college as students come from different parts of the country.
- Regular industry visit/field visit for better exposure and experience gain.
- Ample of cultural events and activities that maintain the youth of college.
Dislikes
- There is no such thing I've seen so far.
Placement Experience:
Nift is providing good placements; in the past, they have also provided good placements. At NIFT kannur we will get placements, but not for every student and we will get a chance to work with designers. In nift kannur you can explore the companies and the job offers they are making.

- The college and campus is pretty peaceful. And you can know everyone in the college
- The college especially the kannur campus organises various activities every week to keep the fun going on.
Dislikes
- There is less departemnts in the college. The facilities are nice. Also they can inprove the canteen food.

The placements are avialable for 4rth year students. It starts around 8th sem middle and a lot of companies come for placements. Well the ratio of getting placed is less. But the college adds us to official whatsapp groups after graduation and keeps seniding job opportunities forever.

- Building design, its architecture and aesthetics
- Nature friendly campus everywhere it is so green
- Outside the college everything is available because of being in the city region
Dislikes
- Staff and its pathetic management skills.
- Teachere and professors are not interested to teach
- The fees paying for the course is not worth it to the services they are providing
Course Curriculum Overview:
Most of the time nothing happens in the classroom. The work load is somewhat between easy and difficult. The curriculum is good as it focuses on practicality rather than just remembering theory and other things.

- Boys are very less in this college so no company
- So much drama over little things and at everything
- The faculty are very strict they don’t put any marks for you
Placement Experience:
There are plenty of placements in this college but you neeed to study here or don't get any embarks because that will affect your placements. There are some good companies that are coming here to pick us up but the pay is kinda okay
