The overall management of University is average but good then other agriculture University present in india ecxcept iari. The atmosphere is joyful and learning always.outer world doesn't effect our university.
College is very good but hostels are not that good.
I think it should be given the status of not at least in upcoming times as it is far better than nit uttarakhand and as it campus is Asia 2nd largest it should be given various facilities by state government.
This college should have to follow other universities in the terms of rules. But i saw restrictions all over the campus that is not good. If it is was the first only one of that was a good thing that you would be able to get.
College of Technology is one among the 8 colleges of GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. Situated among the rural campus town of Pantnagar, the college offers little in terms of recreational centers but in turn is abundant with many fests, fairs, cultural nights and competitions round the year, organised and managed solely by the students.
Gbpua&t is first agriculture university of india infrastructure of the university is good & research Centers & laboratory are well equipped it is largest university in india about 10016 acre area here i get too much opportunity to explore myself
No negative remarks for the college and the university. If you google about pantnagar university then you will be amazed by knowing that how great is this university. Pantnagar University became a significant force in the development and transfer of High Yielding Variety seeds and related technology. The Mexican wheat varieties, developed by Norman Borlaug were tested in Pantnagar and locally adaptable selections, like Pantnagar Kalyan Sona and other improved varieties were released for farmers. The university utilised its 16,000 acres of land to launch one of the largest seed production programs at that time, under the brand name Pantnagar Seeds, which became a household name in rural India. The contribution of the university was recognised by Norman Borlaug, who described Pantnagar as "Harbinger of Green Revolution". Therefore it is a pleasure for me to study in top 3rd agricultural university of India, one of the biggest university of Asia and obviously as stated by Norman Borlaug the university who fed the whole India by generating seeds of wheat i. e. The Harbinger of Green Revolution.
College is good I think and our college was the first agriculture college of the university so the faculty are also good from the starting and are best I think negative points are like the infrastructure
