In four years, there are eight semesters. The subjects include engineering maths 1, engineering physics 1, engineering physics 2, chemistry, etc. There is a very good focus on practical learning.
Companies like Coloured Cow hire students and train them to make them industry-ready.

Dislikes

Because there are almost 260+ students in every year and only 5-6 people in the company.
No, the college does not provide any internships; hence, the students were forced to look for internships outside the campus.

College don't offer much placement opportunities, however students here opt for higher studies by qualifying gate
Due to lack of good PhD facilities and labs, research opportunities are lacking.

Admission:

For admission you should have jee mains valid scorecard. Then you have to apply to utu councelling, this Uttarakhand state university counselling. There are 3 main round and 3 spot councelling rounds. There's no such criteria like cutoff of jee main percentile applied for admission. Admission are very easy u just have apply for counseling and choice filling. College don't show reservation seats

Admission:

You need to complete your intermediate with PCM subject then you need to crack jee main then you got the merit list of selected students per semester. Sc, st candidate have benefits. You can also apply for a tfw seat to get free from all semester fees only you need to pay 5%of the total fee.

Good Government Engineering college with reasonable fees

Admission:

Admission process was based on UTU councelling . It was smooth and deserving candidates got their seats first . So i do not have any issue with the admission process . You can find application form on utu site. First you have to register yourself on utu councelling and if your jee score lies with in the cutoff of this college you will easily get admission . Cut off of this college is not that high so don't worry . 85% of seats are reserve for uttrakhand students. So if you are from uttrakhand then congratulations you have high chances to get admission in this college .

My college is thdc ihet, I got addimison in this college after second round counseling in utu. this is a government constructed college in bhagirathipuram new tehri uttrakhand. I had applied for many colleges but on the basis of my jee main rank and category i got this college. this college is rated aw 3rd best college in state

Admission:

Admission is based on jee main marks, this college is situated in new Tehri Uttarakhand, this is a constituent college of Uttarakhand technical university and the counselling is done by them for all the college including Gp pant university of agriculture and technology, BTKIT and other constituent and affiliated institute. Last year the admission was also given based on 12th marks. There are seats for sc, st, obc Quota and one can also avail admission with fee waiver scheme in which they don't have to pay the tuition fees

Admission:

I am a diploma student and had applied for the lateral entry program in BTech electrical and because of the covid pandemic there was no entrance exam for the program it was a direct merit entry on the basis of the previous course percentage mine was 78% and the process for the admission was also sorted you just have toh bring the assigned documents which were listed on the website the just cross-checked the document and your counseling rank card and he admission was done. Its a good govt. College to pursue BTech but in a remote location

I applied to THDC IHET Tehri gadwal Uttrakhand. No, I don't have any kind of quota! I belong to general. Admission criteria are simply clear for government colleges is to score good marks and to secure a good ranking in jee mains. The admission process was pretty good and easy. THDC - IHET is one of the popular colleges located in the foothills of the Himalayas, its exact location is B. Puram in Tehri. Its infrastructure is well and good and it has all the study material in the library and it also has good faculties.
