course curriculum is pretty updated as they teach subject like OOPS , DSA and others. there is many specialisation if we take it with CSE and there are updated programming languages. we can select our own faculty, through the process of FFCS

The focus is nice i.e fully flexible credit system where you can opt for your own timetable. But the curriculum is traditional and also very hectic. Due to academics, I wasn't able to improve my coding skills.

The course curriculum is well structured and balances both theoretical and practical aspects which is one of the key reasons I chose this program. The curriculum integrates a mix of foundational courses.

The curriculum is the best part of the college. For the first semester you are assigned the courses and you are compulsorily asked to attend all of them. But from second semester its the student who designs his curriculum. The student has his/her full liberty to design teb curriculum, the subjects that he needs or not . Any extra minors to be attended, it is fully upto the student. The liberty to design and choose your curriculum makes students be more handy and more into networking with seniors and other facilities. The resources provided by the college is the best. Best libraries and best computer department to be ever seen.

Vit vellore curriculum is comprehensive as well as relevant , with industry aligned courses and hands on lab features that prepares students for real world applications. However more practice projects and indisciplinary courses woule enhance it.

Don't expect from the college to teach useful things, we study most of the time theory, for external development for yourself, you can participate in hackathon and etc conducted by student bodies in college, I chose information technology because there is less competition in it and the computer science and IT has identical placements, courses can be more practical and real world based rather than just theory based, exams are conducted almost every month, and semester last around 4-5 months

Great curriculum and fully flexible credit system which means we can. We can choose the professors for the respective subjects on our own and we can also decide the timings at what we want to study them. Overall, the frequency and timings of exam are great and the exams are conducted thrives in one semester. That is cat 1, cat 2 and final assessment test that is fat. Along with them they're also quizzes. So overall a great your burdened with the exams every time which is also great.

The course provides a thorough explanation of the subject. About 70 percent of the subjects are of medium difficulty level while the rest will give you a hard time getting good grades. Overall it all depends on the amount of effort you put into them.

Due to the vast number of educational programs available, it's challenging for me to offer a blanket statement regarding the relevance and comprehensiveness of any specific course curriculum. However, I can guide you on how to effectively evaluate a program: 1. Consider your learning goals: Align the curriculum with your personal and professional aspirations. Does it equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve your desired outcomes? 2. Look at the course structure and content: Analyze the syllabus, course descriptions, and learning materials. Do the topics and themes resonate with current industry trends and best practices? Does the program offer a well-rounded perspective, covering both theoretical foundations and practical applications? 3. Seek external validation: Research faculty expertise, accreditations, and industry partnerships associated with the program. Are the instructors recognized for their knowledge and experience in the field? Does the program hold r

I have chosen this course becaus iam more into software side so for my rank with less fee i can avail information technology. Faculty here is okayish but curriculum is good , student ratio is horrible strength here is so heavy , exam timing were very quick and it doesn't require much study to clear exams
Considering this question, the first thing that can be highlighted is that both of these institutes cannot be compared at all. However, studying IT in IIIT Allahabad is far better as it offers several opportunities, as well as institutional environment and infrastructure to assist the student in their career growth appropriately.
However, CSE at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is not so secure considering the programming prospects and study culture that the student will get at IIITA. This choice is easy enough for the student to make as per their career perspectives.
The following table gives a brief overview of these two institutes:
Criteria |
IIITA |
VIT |
Highest CTC |
43 LPA |
41.6 LPA |
Lowest CTC |
20.83 LPA |
7 LPA |
Companies Visited |
120+ |
80+ |
Placement Statistics |
95% |
80% |
Thus, considering the above facts, it can be stated that between these two institutes, the student must go for IIIT Allahabad, as VIT can’t be compared at all.
If you think that you can work under technical giants later in years of study, then you should go for VIT. However, if you want to pursue your field of interest, and choose a likewise job scenario, then undoubtedly, you should enroll in IIIT Guwahati.
There are various differences between both the institutes for B.Tech ECE. Let’s walk through most of them:
Approaches of VIT:
The following table shows the placement statistics of both institutions:

IT at VIT |

Average Salary |

Approaches of IIITG:
VIT is a reputed institute that is known to get you a job in the placement. If you’re willing to enter the job sector soon, join VIT.
I am a student of B.Tech IT at VIT Vellore. According to me, VIT Vellore is a better option for IT as compared to MAIT because of the following reasons-
VIT Vellore offers top class infrastructure and opportunities for its students. The campus is visited by top recruiting companies each year because of which IT placements are quite good for VIT. These companies offer good packages to students during placements. The college offers ample exposure to IT students in the form of internship offers, training offers, and student exchange programs. The IT companies that visit VIT Vellore for placements are- TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant, among others.
Thus, I would recommend you join VIT Vellore for B.Tech IT instead of MAIT.
