- infrastructure is very nice of this collage.that include varietyn of accomodation
- sports facility is also provided here both free and paid facilities are there.
Dislikes
- the campus is very crowded as per its size of campus
- north Indian student might have difficulty if their english is not that good
Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculum is pretty updated as they teach subject like OOPS , DSA and others. there is many specialisation if we take it with CSE and there are updated programming languages. we can select our own faculty,through the process of FFCS
Internships Opportunities :
internship opportunities are also there but as i am in first year only I dont know much about it.....summer internship is there also this collage is very startup friendly and provides fund for start up also
Placement Experience :
placemets are decent not that good but VIT Vellore has a strong placement record and provides excellent support to students, helping them secure their dream jobs. Despite recession and a tech downturn, VIT boasted an excellent placement record in 2023–24 that included high packages, marquee offers, and a large number of regular offers (around INR 5-8 LPA).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the tution fees here is 198000 for category 1 that includes lab , library , classes and all. hostel and mess charges are seprate as my room is 3 bed A/C its cost is 167000.faculty is good overall.there are foriegn students also.
Campus Life :
VIT has plenty of clubs and chapters available inthat freshers can take part form second semester... it has two big events one is technical fest that is GRAVITAS that includes science fairs , heckathonsm and much more and second one is RIVERA that is cultural fest here in that DJ night and celebrity come form outside
Hostel Facilities :
meal quality is nice as every hostel has its own mess and we can switch mess in every month that is a very good feature and night mess is also there for night students that is really helpfull...else mess is good only
Admission :
the addmission is held by VITEEE exam that is of decent diffculty a positive thing is that it does not have negative marking it has 5 subjects chemistry , maths , physics , english , and general thinking
Faculty :
faculty is overall great.if I talk about my faculty....I have engineering physics , electronic engineering , qualitative skills , in programming language is python for first semester.. my physics teacher is cool and good in teaching and gives decent marks in exams...He is also a german PHD holder..If i talk about EEE it is good only but python teacher is like a night mare
Night Life :
VIT has plenty of areas to chill out like ita has many brands like dominos , nescafe , madras cafe , DC cafe and many more...otherwise every hostel block has its own canteen and night mess also gym facilities in vit is good there is one free gym and 3 paid gym inside the campus only if we go out the campus in timing is 7:00 pm for campus and 8:30 of hostel blocks
