Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNAU) was established in the year 1997 by the government of Tamil Nadu. The law university is recognised by UGC and accredited with a grade B++ by NAAC. TNDALU campus is spread across 4.2 acres in Poompozhil and Perungudi campus.
TNDALU offers 5 years and 3 years LLB (Hons.) and LLM programs in multiple disciplines. Admissions to all programs are solely based on marks secured in the qualifying examination (Merit-based). TNDALU consists of more than 11 departments, 120+ meritorious faculty members. The university has signed MoUs with over 22 national international universities. It is also a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.

TNDALU Admission 2024
Admissions in TNDALU or based on merit only. It offers 15+ worldwide recognised Law courses. The university will publish a rank list and cut off marks for each course on the official website. The flagship course of the university is 5 year integrated UG courses.
An applicant has to fill the application form, then the university will publish the rank and cut-off merit lists on the official website. Proceeding to the online verification of the documents, shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling sessions and joining.
In order to be eligible for TNDALU admissions, candidates must have at least 70% in the qualifying exam. Moreover, an application fee for LL.M of INR 500 for SC/ST candidates and INR 1000 for other candidates must be paid.

TNDALU campus stretches across 4.2 acre land in its Poompozhil and Perungudi campus. The sprawling campus has 11 departments and more than 120 faculty members. TNDALU has 24 government and private affiliate colleges with more than 12,000 students enrolled. Moreover, TNDALU facilitates the students with the following opportunities:
1.Library facility
A group of qualified professional library workers, who also are under the direction of the Library Council, plan and are continuously enhancing the TNDALU library.
The university's library has 18,803 volumes, 963 online journals, 81 Indian journals, 8 foreign journals, 25 CDs and digital books, and 8 Indian magazines in addition to 8 foreign journals.
To make it simpler for readers to access and retrieve library and information resources, the TNDALU library has implemented an open access system.

Extrance exams are not needed here.. Admission is based on the merit list (12th grade marks or UG marks) Cutoff marks are alloted on the community basis and rank lists are provided.. Mostly counselling in online mode and submission of documents on offline mode

The admission is based upon the merit list. The students need to undergo counselling process to select the colleges. The application process is entirely an online process. The person need to pay the required application fee. The semesters are condeucted yearly twice. The internal mark is 30 out of 100. The 70 marks be the semester examination. The internal includes the assignment, presentation, viva, attendance and class behaviour. The admission process is sometimes difficult for the rural people. The admission process is fully online, with no offline admission process. As I scored above 90% I got a seat in law college in first counseling. It has been a tough competition to get a seat in law college.

BA LLB course admission is only through online application, the candidates should apply every year on the TNDALU website, which is the Official website of Ambedkar University, which works in Tamil Nadu. No application fees are required. After applying, a call letter will be posted to the candidate's home address, and they call for counseling for admission. The way of counseling is based on the mark and percentage in 12th standard results.

In the administration process, there were no entrance exams for it, it is fully based on the merit marks scored by the students in 12th student at the school level. And based on special reservations also used to select the students for the admission like the students who has army backgrounds and the students who were physically disabled were given admission the administration process was quite good so far and the admission process was quite good in the college

Eligibility for application is a minimum of 50%. But cut-off marks are expected from 80-98%. Application notification is officially published on the university website Andalou.in. I'm receiving scholarships yearly, they will refund the whole college fees which have to be paid yearly. The admission process is all fine now.

To apply for the LLM program of TNDALU you must have completed an LLB or integrated LLB degree with at least 45% marks from a recognized university. Admission is offered based on the merit of the qualifying examination passed.
For admission to TNDALU Chennai LLB course, selection is based on merit. And, the admission begins in September 2023(tentative).
