- TNNLU has released the fee structure for UG & PG courses for the academic session 2025-26. The annual fee for BA LLB & BCom LLB is INR 1,50,360, while the annual fee for LLM is INR 1,01,955. Candidates can check the detailed fee structure on the university’s official portal (tnnlu.ac.in).
About TNNLU
Tamil Nadu National Law School (TNNLS) was established in 2012 under legal education by the Tamil Nadu National Law School Act, 2012. The college is offering five year Integrated Programme in law. TNNLS is the first national level institution in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is providing advocacy and skill in judicial administration keeping pace with the changing global scenario, to disseminate learning and knowledge of law, legal processes, and to meet the challenges brought about by globalization. The aim of the college is to promote and impart legal education at all levels to achieve excellence and to develop the legal knowledge.

Admission:
All admissions to this university are done on the basis of the Common Law Admission Test. Through the website, one can register for the examination by paying 5000 as admission fee. Upon the release of the results, based on the score university releases 5 rounds of counseling sheets along with the selected candidates. The cut-off is 60 -70 in CLAT. To be honest, the admission process takes quite a lot of time (1 month at least). But, once the admission is confirmed at the University, you will be asked to pay 20K as an admission fee which will be lessened from the fee and the whole process is guided.
Admission:
Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses are available at the Tamil Nadu National Law University. Admission to TNNLU, Trichy’s B.A. L.L.B. (Hons), BCom. L.L.B. (Hons), and L.L.M programmes are based on CLAT scores obtained by the applicant. Candidates applying for B.A. L.L.B. (Hons) and BCom. L.L.B. (Hons) admission at the Tamil Nadu National Law University must take part in CLAT counseling process. However, candidates must participate in CLAT PG counseling in order to be admitted to L.L.M Course. After the usual admission process, one can get admission through the vacant seats as notified by the University. Applicants willing to take admission should keep an eye on vacancy notifications to grab a seat.

The college management is effective and is working hard to develop this young college. They are friendly to the students too. Easily approachable.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This is a 5 year degree course that is a combination of moot court exercises, lectures of various subjects of law, compulsory internship program of 1 month during each semester. Focus is given on research in this course.

The admissions are based on scores obtained in entrance examinations Like CLAT. You can apply to the Tamil Nadu National Law School online from the official website.
In order to apply for admission to Tamil Nadu National Law School, candidates must state it as their preference while registering for the CLAT examination. The form for CLAT can be filled out online through its official website. Check here for more information regarding the admission process. TNNLU Admission
The admissions are not going on at present for UG course LLB. The admissions will start in 2023. You can apply for admission to LLB only after clearing the CLAT UG examination.
