Course Description
Students can obtain the application form through any of the two processes given below:
In person:
- You can obtain the application form by visiting the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University campus after payment of INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST) in cash for LL. B honors & INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ST) in cash for LL. B degree course.
- Send the completely filled application form along with relevant documents in person to: “Principal of respective Government Law College”

Note: 1. Application Fee is required to be paid through Challan only; Performa for the same can be downloaded from www.tndalu.ac.in. Fees payment through money order, cash, bank pay order, cheque will not be accepted.
2. Separate application form is required to be filled if you want to apply for more than one course.
Documents required to be enclosed along with the application form:
- Provisional degree certificate for LL. B degree/ LL. B honors/ Integrated LL. B. (Depending upon which particular course you are going to apply)
- Copies of SSC & HSC marks sheet along with Date of Birth certificate
- Community certificate including SC/ST/Muslims & others
- Special category certificate like children of Ex –Serviceman if applicable.
Application process for NRI’s:
NRI students can also obtain the application form by paying 200 US$ as cost of application form through Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University’ Payable at Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time L.L.B Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
The candidates should have passed any degree under any discipline. Minimum marks in Qualifying SC/ ST is 55% and for Others& NRI is 60%

Law is a professional course..it is a main aspect for me to choose law..since I'm a student from arts background I can't go to other professional courses like MBBS BE etc External exams are conducted for every 6 months and there is also internal and viva voce for students Court visits from college helps us to gain more practical knowledge and to understand the procedures of court

I liked studying law since my schooling. When I searched for a good law college, I came to know about this college, also It is a government college where I can get some reservation benefits. All the faculties in our college graduated with law degrees and cleared the eligibility test(net) exam. There is one internal exam that is conducted in mid of the semester. Then the semester is conducted accordingly. The pass percentage is very high since most of the subjects are theoretical.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The total fee per annum is Rs. 87,135. The tuition fees is is INR 42,000 for the merit candidates, and there is a one time fee of Rs. 10,000 for University Development and Admission, and a refundable library deposit of Rs. 3000.

The fees is submitted semester wise and can be submitted in the form of off-line method known as demand draft, online methods including card payments. No cash is accepted. The first your face is taken along the security deposit at Rs.70,000 approximately. Which is very expensive but worth the education it provides.

For my course the admission fee was 3000 rupees and the total fees was 69,52 rupees which i feel was not expensive for me. Most of the course have the range just like my course. They provided with adequate education for the amount you pay.

We ought to pay a total of 76842/- for per year. All sorts of fees are collected for the purpose of library, sports, NCC, NSS, study material fee and exams fee so as infrastructure, tution, mark statement fee so on & so forth.
