Admission to the integrated BA LLB program at Government Law College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is based on merit through the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University's counseling process. The management quota is not applicable, as it is a government institution. Candidates must apply online and participate in centralized counseling for seat allotment

Government Law College (GLC) Coimbatore does not offer distance education programs. All its law courses, including the 3-year LL.B., 5-year B.A. LL.B., and 2-year LL.M., are conducted through full-time, on-campus instruction.
Candidates who have passed a three year Degree Examination of Universities in Tamil Nadu and Such degree awarded by Member Universities of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi for purpose of mutual recognition on reciprocal basis, after 10+2+3+ or 11+1+3 pattern and also recognized by Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University alone are eligible for admission to LL.B (3 years) Degree Course. The registration fee is INR 50.
Government Law College Coimbatore offers admission to BA LLB and LLB at the undergraduate level and LLM at the postgraduate level. Candidates with 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% marks are eligible for admission to BA LLB at GLC Coimbatore.
