No examination taken. Joined through work integrated learning program through our corporate company help. Its a renowned college for good teaching.
The management is extremely helpful. There are no observations to be made, as they are extremely assisting and also they do care about the future of their students.
There are pretty much no bad remarks but a caveat that before joining any college, be sure what want to learn. BITS is a great place to be and one will never forget what he/she learns and experiences here.
At our time admission was given based on the candidate's percentage in Intermediate or +2. It was 97.0 % and I scored 97.3% to get through.
I have been privileged to be a part of this great institution. Academics, Events, Sports and the overall journey has been really wonderful. BITSians are always acknowledged in corporate world and it helps a lot. The people I met there were awesome and its hard to find people like them again. All the best wishes to BITS.
Except for fee structure, There is nothing BITS-Pilani lacks in terms of one of best college in India. Do pay a visit.
Entrance Test : BITSAT, Score : 346 Loved to code and also the faculty is very good for Computer Science along with the range of courses offered.
Our college is very good in all the aspects like subject knowledge, general awareness and extra circular activities.
I joined in 2002 when the entrance was through +2 percentage. I scored 97.2% in AP board. I would have easily got admission into any of the B-group courses i.e MSc (Hons) course, but I opted in the following order BE(hons) Computer Science Engineering, BE(hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BE(hons) Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, BE(hons) Mechanical Engineering .
Our Director was V.S.Rao just google it. Words are not sufficient to describe about him and how he runs the management.
In my opinion, both BITS Pilani and IIT Roorkee are in the same league while IIT Guwahati is a bit inferior to them. Let’s discuss further on the basis of some very common aspects
Both the colleges have their own strengths and weaknesses and comparing them is illogical. I would say that if you are genuinely interested in CSE, then Pilani will be better for you than Roorkee. But if you aren’t certain of your area of interest then choose IIT Roorkee for its IIT tag.
