Our college is very good in all the aspects like subject knowledge, general awareness and extra circular activities.
Entrance Preview :
I Have given the Gate Exam and got 91.7 percentile and 1098 gate rank and applied for IIT's,NIT's and also applied Deemed Universities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course offered to me is power electronics and drives. main subject is power electronics. we read the basic converters like AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC converters. The main application of power electronics is Uninterrupted Power Supplies where we have AC-DC Converter and DC-DC Converter and DC-AC Converter used in the UPS.
Internships Opportunities :
Our College will provide internship program stipend is based on the research project general stipend is 8000 to 10000 rupees.
Placement Experience :
Placements are excellent in the Bits Pilani Campus. normally we used to get 70 to 80 companies. it covers all the companies related to computer science and electrical and electronics, mechanical, civil and chemical companies. maximum package offered is 25 lakhs.
College Events :
There are so many events celebrate in our college. Technical syposium conducted in our college, Students from all other college will come and participate in the paper presentation, mini projects. and we have Oasis event. some cultural events celebrate in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is not so expensive. fee structure is 22,000 per semester. and mess fees is separate. food is very nice. final semester is project work. we work in some companies 6 months. we have placements in the third semester. we have to pay by DD before college starts in every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Scholarship and loan facilities provided. SBI bank, Andhra Bank provided the loan facilities for us with less interest.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is Excellent. gender ratio is 3:1 (Boys to Girls ratio). Boys strength is more when compared with the Girls. Extra Circular activities , Labs, Sports, are superb. we have Yoga and Gym in the college. we have all types of games in the college like cricket, kabbadi, basket ball, badminton court in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are good and mess facility is also good.we had very good food in the mess. we have rice , curries in the lunch. and have tiff ins in the morning and the dinner. we have bread, jam, butter and poha in the morning. Rice, sambar, curd and curries in the lunch.
Alumni/Alumna :
We had very good interaction with our seniors. they are so helpful in the subject as well as the personal matters.
Exam Structure :
We have open and closed book exams. some are open and some exams are closed book. we had internal exams and as well as final exams. inters are of 40 marks and external is of 60 marks. final grading is based on CGPA. Grade A is of 10 Points and B is of 8 Points , C is of 6 Points and D is of 4 Points ad if E Grade we have to repeat the exam.
Admission :
The Admission is through two written exams and one personal interview. Next day the results announced and i got the admission in Power electronics and drives branch. it is the two years course. we have written the exam in the college. one exam is objective and one exam is based on the technical subjects.
Faculty :
The faculty is very good all are Ph.D Holders and so much experienced. My HOD done Phd in the US and teach in IIT Delhi for 10 Years and in IIT Bombay for 4 years and after that he introduced the course in bits pilani. and another faculty done job in the CEERi center for electrical and electronics engineering research institute.
