Academic Requirements

The candidates should have passed their 10th class (Pass in English, Mathematics and Science is compulsory) from a State Education Board/CBSE/ICSE/ National Open School or an equivalent examination recognized/approved by MHRD, Government of India. Those who are appearing in matriculation examination may also apply subject to producing the result at the time of admission
Admission to all ICD courses shall be made on the basis of All India SLIET Entrance Test (SET-I)

The college offer the scholarship to poor people and physically handicapped challenged students And to the Northeast students.

Placements in our college are not as high as in NITs and IITs, but they are better than many state-level colleges
Deemed university so cant competition with other university student

This university is deemed university then the faculty taught the subject also check the exam copy then exam level is moderate and easy type. Syallabus is more and time is minimum so minimise the Syallabus or maximise the time.

All curriculum courses are good and they have to improve something in the workshop because the faculty are good but the availability of equipment is less in some workshops. Classrooms are good for students and residential facilities are also good

1. Diploma from SLIET in the mechanical branch is very renowned and famous because of the department's achievements and the clubs that are run by them. 2. As there is no shortage of professors and faculty in the college optimum number of teachers is there. 3. The students are divided into subgroups and classes are taken accordingly. 4. Exam scheme is simple there are two minors and one major held at the last of the semester.

I choose this course because I'm interested. There is a good bonding between Faculty and students. All Faculty member is Good qualified and their teaching method is good. The exam will be conducted in two parts 1. Minor 2. Major Not very difficult to pass the semester exam. It's easy to pass if you study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering because this institute has a huge amount of tools and machinery which is way more than many NITs of India. There is a mentor for every 5-6 students. If you are facing any problem regarding academic as well as in the hostel, you are free to meet or contact them at any time. There is also a separate session between the student and their respective mentor every Saturday 1 hour before lunch. Most subject faculty are PhD holders and very few teachers doing MTech. Faculty are quite familiar with students. Since Diploma students are the most junior students of the college that's why faculty always ready to help. Every year an academic calendar is provided and on the basis of that calendar, all exams and activities take place. It is not very hard to pass the semester exams because the question is mostly asked from the topic which is thoroughly discussed in the classroom.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The program fee is rs11000 for every semester in diploma program. The mode of payment accepting by the college are e-chalan,debit or card card,direct pay at counter etc.No,there are not any extra charges that had to be paid in order to get the admission.yes college provide the transparency in fee structure.
