I am enrolled in biotechnology, so the placements are quite good, since most students choose to pursue higher education. There are classes and labs in the department itself from fourth semester. In labs, students are given a chance to learn more about their courses, and tests are held twice a semester, which is quite good.

- Since that I dislike the earth that initially when I came into this college there was some restriction on timing as well as the professors was strict.

The course curriculum is based on NEP 2020. With which we can easily explore each and every field with our intrest perspective. The curriculum is totally application based. Sometimes we can also get an opportunity to solve real word problem under a project or other types of compotion held by department.

Students will be able to learn the basics of various units operation and process related to chemical and allied industries. Students to identify formulate and analyse simple and complex chemical Engineering problems. Students wil be proficient in the use of a variety of informational and educational media such as textbooks, scientific and technical journals, Library system, internet and educational software, have an understanding of and exposure to the breadth and structure of the professional and technical support system that will be available to the students upon graduation.

I chose this course because of my interest and with an aim to do a master's in genetics since btech biotech as such gives fewer job opportunities and experience. The faculty is adequate and approx 60 students. The faculty is highly qualified and their teaching method is good.

I have a great interest in the stream of biotechnology so I opted for this course. The Faculty-student ratio is 1:20. All faculties are PhD Holders from IIT and foreign institutes. The institute is very punctual towards exams and which happen at fixed intervals and it quite has a medium toughness.

- I have made my own friends circle and i enjoy a lot so campus life totally depends on your group so choose wisely.

- It would have been more fun if campus size would be little more bigger.
Course Curriculum Overview:
To be very honest I didn't choose this course, I got this as my last option. I would suggest carefully making the choices during the counseling process by properly researching the branches and opportunities that you'll get in the future. At beginning, I wasn't happy with my branch but now I am ok with it. Faculties are highly qualified and their teaching methods are also good and they are extremely helpful but some are strict as well. If you focus in class you'll definitely understand what they are teaching and it will be easier to pass in exam. If you want to score really well then you can do so if you start studying at least 10-15 days before exams but if you just want to get passed you have to study the night before but try this at your own risk.

I got around 93 percentile in Jee and I am from the general category, another state so I got the biotechnology. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5. the qualifications of the teachers are very attractive like some of them come into the world's top 2% scientist. there are 2 exams in one semester midsem and endsem.
