Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is out dated and doesn't include the modifications that are needed with time which is very very unfortunate for someone who is always interested in the news of the world. So that's that
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Many companies visit the university for campus placements The software companies offer packages averaging to about 4 LPA. While core companies average about 5 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first year fee is 41040 for regular students and then onwards the odd semester fee is 20550 and even semester fee is 13700. Except for final semester where the fee is 16200. So the fee for the complete course is 146290. The fee only increases in the final semester
Campus Life :
The sports fest, Illumina, is the most unspectacular The tech fest, Samavesh, is so and so The cultural fest, Vassaunt, is the fest of the university and is lit. The library is quite old. One can find most of curriculum prescribed books here but not all of them. No recreational section in the Library
Hostel Facilities :
Electricity (fan, lights and switches), bed and shelf is provided anything else you want you have to arrange for yourself. Meal quality is total shite. Registration is through the website It is not recommended to stay in VSSUT boys hostel. But then again you will miss a bachelor's hostel Life if you do so
Admission :
I did not apply for any other college, because I was confident that I will get a seat here at VSSUT based in my JEE Mains Percentile score. The admission process starts with applying in the portal link given in the website, where we pay 10000 to confirm our seats. Then we need to attend the university for document verification and admission on a date specified by the university
Faculty :
The relationship differs for diffenrent students and faculties. Some are really Frank while others are reserved but overall almost all of them can be categorised as approachable. Each semester has a mid semester exam of 30 marks in 150 minutes and an end semester exam of 50 marks in 250 minutes per subject. The marking scheme is 3 x 2 mark questions and 3 x 8 mark questions for mid semester examination and for end semester examination it is 5 x 2 mark questions and 5 x 8 mark questions.
