Dislikes

Nagpur: It is so expensive and is very boring compared to cities like pune hyderabad and even indore

College was with high standard professors and providing quality education
Not only education wise college conducts different different fest to encourage the students hidden talents

Dislikes

Hostels were little messy as they are old but they clean regularly
Less number of canteens in the college and no so good food

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students will be eligible for campus placements.companies like Amazon Microsoft Accenture ITC Deloitte Bajaj Tata and etc visit our college and do the recruitment as per their requirements. Last yr the highest CTC was 64Lpa and average was 7-8lpa. In electric department the percentage of students getting placements are 70-80%

Likes

Campus is huge and beautiful. Good and interactive seniors/mentors who always help and support juniors.
Some professors and faculty are very engaging and use effective teaching and mentorship methods.

Dislikes

Administration procedure is a hassle. Office people always make you run around to get simple things like a signature.
Hostel rules and regulations are too tight and it feels like a jail. Administration does not pay attention to student needs sometimes.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are allowed to sit for internship programs offered by various companies. From 7th semester we are allowed to sit for placement on-campus interviews and tests. Big companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Google, CITI, Hilti and many other core companies like ITC, Bajaj, TATA Elxsi, etc appeared. Average package is around 10-12 lpa. More than 50% of students got placed in our batch. I got a campus placement in Deloitte USI.

Likes

Good and well maintained campus along with all the necessities a student needs. The college is in the city so no inconvenience in going out.
Good sports facilities and sports culture. High standard sports facilities and grounds are there along with an Olympic size swimming pool.

Dislikes

In time restrictions for 1st year students . A lot of pressure .
Not so great placements, even in the past the placements were not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is ok. Common subjects for everyone in the first year which gives us all to try and taste every field of engineering and then decide what to build career on. Core subjects start from 3rd semester and a lot of focus is given on physical fitness.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE IN VNIT

VNIT is a green campus with fresh and pure air. I joined my B.Tech in EEE in 2020, but due to corona i had to spend by 2 years of my college life in home. I entered the campus in 2022. There are people coming from different states.
I made many friends through academics and sports. We have done many things and made memories which will remain with us for the remaining part of our lives. The facilities in VNIT are OK. We have digital classrooms in every department.

Dislikes

The sports equipment is not upto the mark. They don't even have good cricket bats and balls.
The mess food is a big problem here in VNIT. The food is not tasty and we used to pay mess fee because it is combined with hostel fee and mandatory, but we used to eat daily outside.

Placement Experience:

The students will be eligible for internships from 5th semester and placement from 7th semester. Some of the big companies like Oracle, DE Shaw, John deer, Wells fargo, CITI Bank, and many more visit the campus every year. The placement percentage in EEE was approximately 80%. Some of them opt for higher studies in India and foreign countries. The highest package offered in 2024 was 64 LPA.

Good campus environment and lush green campus with spacious lawns
Canteen facility with reasonable prices with good space

Old department buildings with some old equipments
Some strict rules and regulations for students and high fines

Placements are good . Highest package of 2024 is 64LPA with average 12LPA for Computer Science Engineering branch. Some companies like Deloitte, Bharath petroleum etc . Mostly placements starts at 4th year 1st semester.

Gym are good , sports facility is good and well

Placement Experience:

Placement are good and AVG pakacge is 10 lakh and college help in placement in 2 years and they help in every aspect of the college level and there is a proper placement cell available which helps in placement

VNIT campus is almost ragging free no student take ragging of juniors
Class are maintain properly in all combine department building

Dislikes

Less option for course selection in department
Strictness is more it feels more strict than school

Placement Experience:

4 th for placement and 3rd year for intership you can prepare for internship in 3rd year Around 40 to 50 companies visited many offers were made around 60 percent student are placed After getting degree if I get placed I will go for that option

Large campus spread in 250 Acres. Excellent Campus life
Best sports facilities are available including swimming pool

Dislikes

Lot of academic pressure and busy schedule.
Events are not well organised, lack of cultural activities.

Placement Experience:

Nearly 80-90% students grt placed with average package of 9-10 LPA. Students are eligible for placements post 6th semester. Students are eligible for internships post 4th sem which further can be converted to a PPO

The campus is very nice with good hostels
Sports facilities are very good and mostly all gym related equipments are available.Sports lovers and fitness lovers are going to love it

Dislikes

The work load is too high. don't expect any sympathy from professor regarding assignments and stuff
Exam schedule is too tight. No gaps between end semester papers

Placement Experience:

90 percent students get placed.many companies visit campus for placement. interviews are taken in campus and most of the students get placed too.the students which don't apply for placement are mostly because they want to study further like mba of mtech.highest salary offer for my department student may reach 25 lakhs.from 7th sem you are applicable for placement.i plan to give CAT after college

The campus life is very good. The nature, the main building, department everything is good.
The faculty is awesome. Teaching method is different than any other private institute.

Dislikes

The time table is hectic, lot of labs and tutorials
You don't really get a lot of holidays and dayoffs.

Placement Experience:

From the start of the 5th semester, students get a chance for an internship in a reputed company and based on your performance they give you placement opportunities. There are around 120 companies visited the campus last year and a total of 500 offers were made. 90% of students get places every year.
