Likes

Good and well maintained campus along with all the necessities a student needs. The college is in the city so no inconvenience in going out.
Good sports facilities and sports culture. High standard sports facilities and grounds are there along with an Olympic size swimming pool.

Dislikes

In time restrictions for 1st year students . A lot of pressure .
Not so great placements, even in the past the placements were not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is ok. Common subjects for everyone in the first year which gives us all to try and taste every field of engineering and then decide what to build career on. Core subjects start from 3rd semester and a lot of focus is given on physical fitness.

Class Size : 110Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee is fixed as it is for any NIT i.e. 62500 per sem and it doesn't change the hostel + mess charges are approximately 40000 per sem . Student gets scholarship on basis of family incomes and caste.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is overall good. The college has a lot of cultural and technical clubs management clubs. It also has all sorrts of fests. But the fests may not be that good . Infrastructure is pretty good. Gives you an environment where u can do what you want to.

Admission :

Admission is done through jee mains rank and josaa +csab counselling . The cutoff for my college are probably one of the highest cutoffs . So I would say it is a pretty competitive college to get in .

Faculty :

The faculty are well educated and passionate as well . But most of them are not very good at teaching . And some faculties are qualified and yet don't know what they are talking about. Not very supportive faculty overall.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
