Yes most of the course here are relevant.there are some societies which give us practice experience regarding to that profession. The labs and workshops are well maintained with some morden gadgets. Yeah there are some issue like sometimes the behaviour of professors is intolerable.

As I am in 1st year so I don't have much knowledge about the course curriculum of the branches here but as a first-year student I can say the course moderate there are some basic subjects short in 1st year like physics and chemistry maths of engineering grade and the other subjects are engineering graphics drawing etc and a programming language

Truth is I don't want to take btech course in metallurgy but as per my rank I can't get any other branch so yeah. Faculties here are quite knowledgeable in their particular domain but there are some of them who are quite rude to students but overall faculties are good. Term exams held at time they provide and Passing the exams is not that difficult. You have to focus a little bit on subject and can pass as per the difficulty of subject

1) I choose because I wanted to live in tier 1 city 2) faculty: student ratio is quiet good 3) few are good but not all 4) it is difficult to pass the term examination, if not studied well u may get fail, as the examination conduction is really difficult.

To determine eligibility for a BTech (Bachelor of Technology) course, you typically need to have completed higher secondary education (12th grade) with a background in science or a related field. Specific eligibility criteria may vary among universities, so it's advisable to check the requirements of the institution you're interested in. Additionally, entrance exams may be

I chose this course because my rank was lower and the faculty is very good here they try their best so that student can understand the concepts and their teaching method is good but the problem is with the BE subject. It's been taught on ppt and I don't think that this type of subject should be taught on ppt. But overall we can understand that also. So it's good that every faculty is Ph.D. qualified and also they have at least 10 years experience. Term exams are generally between 1-1.5 months gap. It is not difficult it is quite easy to pass but yes if u want full marks it's a bit tough.

I chose this course because of my interest in research regarding material science and in joining the ISRO as a materials engineer. In the first year, the student-faculty ratio for one subject is 1:110 which might seem a lot but it isn't considering not everyone is interested in studying. Following years, the professors of specific departments will teach you, unlike the first year where everyone studies the same thing. The ratio improves then as more number of professors are available for the students. The quality of teaching is decent. The professors are ready to help but this is not a school therefore the students must put their efforts to excel in their exams. The exams are generally moderate level except the end sem exams which are a bit tough. It is easy to pass the exams if you have gone through the teacher's notes but people do fail these exams also.

To have a good exposure and placement I have chosen this branch. Faculty to student ratio is good here. The majority of the faculty are PHD holders from IIT. The faculty is quite supportive and experienced here at MANIT.
Materials Science and Metallurgy is a good branch. It has huge career prospects in R&D. One can also opt for higher studies post a B.Tech in Metallurgy.
This branch deals with the science of materials. One gets to study the extraction of metals and their refining & purification. The Department of Metallurgy at MANIT Bhopal is quite good. It allows ample time to prepare for GATE. Upon cracking GATE, one can get a job in PSUs like Vizag, IOCL, SAIL, etc.
The department professors are good and supportive. They encourage the students to grab new opportunities in the field of Metallurgy. The placement figures for B.Tech Metallurgy aren’t as good as B.Tech CSE/ECE. The average package is 5–6 LPA, and the highest package touches 8–9 LPA. About 60–70% of the students receive campus placement.
Materials Science and Metallurgy is a good branch, given that one shows interest in it. It offers ample study time to prepare for competitive exams on the side.
