Eligibility
The following minimum eligibility criteria will be applied to all those candidates who have opted for IIM Kozhikode. Only candidates obtaining a positive (greater than zero) scaled score in all sections of CAT 2024 will be considered.
- Those candidates who have a Graduation Degree must secure a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks in their Graduation Degree.
- Those candidates who do not have a Graduation Degree but completed CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS must secure a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS.
- Those candidates who have secured 50 percent aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS and have a Graduation Degree must secure a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks in their Graduation Degree.
- Must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as specified in Table 1.

* The percentage of marks obtained in Class X and Class XII would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the marks sheet or grade sheet, irrespective of whether the Board considers them for calculation of percentage.
Note: General (GEN), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes- Non creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Persons with Disability (PwD).
For applicants in the final year of bachelor's degree:
- A candidate who is in the final year of bachelor's degree, if selected, would be allowed to join the Programme provisionally only if he/she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2025 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her college/institute (issued on or before June 30, 2025) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor's degree on the date of the issue of the certificate.
- The admission would be confirmed only when the candidate submits the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the bachelor's degree referred to in the certificate issued by the Principal/Registrar with at least an aggregate percent 60.
- Nonfulfillment of this condition would automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
- IIMK would not allow any candidate to join the programme in case the candidate is unable to complete all the requirements for a bachelor degree on or before June 30, 2025. Applicants should note that the mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria would not ensure shortlisting by IIMK.
- Prospective candidates must maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.

- there is no attached washroom in single shared rooms which is just not acceptable.
- since campus is too big, walking distance becomes quite large due to this
Course Curriculum Overview:
My interest was in finance and the role that I want to get into is Investment banking that's why I chose to go with the PGP-Finance course in IIM Kozhikode. I would say that since it is a specialised course, it is more inclined toward Finance domain and the subjects that you are going to study will have that touch. To be very honest all my faculty members are quite professional and they know exactly want they are doing. student ratio is not very impressive in my course but overall it's very good with 60:40.

- Placement is 100% of the batch with good package

- Location of the college is a bit far from city
- Airport is very far from the college and takes about 1.5 hrs

Courses in the first year are the same for the whole batch while one has to select various electives depending on their preferences. The faculty-student ratio is roughly 1:9. Faculty is very well-qualified and experienced.

I think that the course is not updated and the faculties are not good enough to provide industrial exposure. The fee we pay is about 20 lakhs for sub standard education. The syllabus is same from last many years , it has never been updated because the faculties cannot change themselves with changing time. Some of the faculties like Mr Arqum Mateen, Mr Atanu Adhikari , Kapil Verma are really good. The academic rigours is very forceful and daunting for the students. Academics in a way add zero to mo value to the students when it comes to Industry skills and placements. It is not worth pursuing MBA from IIM Kozhikode
