As I stepped into this new chapter of my academic life, my initial impressions were a mix of excitement and exhaustion. The induction process and preparatory classes demanded intense effort, resulting in sleepless nights. However, the campus's warm reception provided a comforting ambiance, helping ease the fatigue. The days were a whirlwind of activities, particularly the group tasks during the induction, creating a platform for forging friendships that went beyond the hustle and bustle. Yet, as the sections took shape, finding time to connect with everyone became a delightful challenge, restricted to those precious moments during the daily mess gatherings.

My daily routine kicked off promptly at 8 am, with a quick breakfast at the mess before the 9:30 am classes commenced. Four classes, each lasting an hour and a half, kept us engaged until 5:15 pm. A brief snack break and a retreat to my room for some downtime preceded a workout session in the gym. The day concluded with dinner and the inevitable task of addressing pending work, a schedule that sometimes extended well into the late hours.

The co-ed hostel life added another layer of vibrancy to the overall experience. Daily parties and birthday celebrations created a lively atmosphere, making it imperative to adjust one's schedule to align with the social calendar. The mess food, though subject to critique, underwent regular improvements through monthly feedback forms, allowing students to actively shape and refine the culinary experience.

Eligibility of course is you have to crack the entrance exam for MBA that is CAT. If you score more then different mba college will send u the application and you have to give the GD and PI. Sometimes they will just take PI

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. Obc, sc, st have different criteria for admission and have different cutoff percentile. No I don't want any improvement.

If anyone is eligible for CAT then automatically he becomes eligible for this course as well. Admission procedure was quite smooth Firstly, I had to give CAT exam, which is all India qualifying exam for management. After clearing the ST cutoff of year 2019 which was 50 percentile, I got called for CAP interview at Kolkata. There, I can give interview to get admission in baby IIMs. It was 2 step process. At first, we were given a topic in which we have to write essay. My topic was " Are electronic devices advantage of disadvantage to youth". After that, there was PI round, in which questions were asked about grades, extra curricular activities, personality and academics. Then I checked list of IIM Raipur. I was selected. I went to take admission. I brought all necessary documents and admission was smooth. There is a branch of IDBI Bank inside college campus, through which I got loan. One thing which can be improved during admission process is that they should allow 1 week for admission rather than the next day

Becoming a professor from the new IIMs is definitely possible but rare. The FPM program offered at the new IIMs has varied peers some being freshers while some with Masters from foreign universities.

- The quality of your papers
The chances are rare because most of the new IIMs have professors who have done Ph.D. from older IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta. Ph.D. is a program that totally depends on your performance and research. The initial years focus solely on research training and cannot be enough to make you eligible for faculty positions.
So your chances are rare but not null.
What advantage does IIM Raipur have over the other new IIMs?
Although IIM Raipur is just a mediocre IIM, it does have certain features that set it apart from other IIMs. Some of them include

Which should I prioritize, IRMA or IIM Raipur? My main objective is core/quality learning and the value of the degree in the long run. A lucrative job is secondary.
IRMA is a well-established MBA institution that has been in operation for 43 years, while IIM Raipur and Rohtak are relatively newer institutions, established only 12-14 years ago. IRMA has a strong reputation in a variety of fields such as marketing, financial roles, agribusiness, sales and marketing, development organizations, international organizations, and government agencies. In contrast, IIM Raipur and Rohtak are known for their expertise in consulting and financial domains. It is important to note that these newer IIMs may not yet be comparable to more established institutions like IRMA.
With the increasing number of IIMs in various states, the competition for job opportunities and seats in these institutions is becoming more intense. Some of the graduates from IIM Raipur and Rohtak may not be able to earn as high of a salary as those from IRMA after a few years of experience. Therefore, if you are looking for a prestigious MBA program with a well-respected reputation and the potential for a high-paying job, IRMA is an excellent choice. Yes, I do have an opinion regarding the same. This course is the most unprofessional and unreliable course I have come across. People who are looking for better job opportunities need to stay away from this course. This is because the course offers everything but job assistance. You cannot depend on this course and expect offers from companies after completing the program. The brochure provided initially, the various job opportunities are mentioned which is quite misleading.

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIM Raipur is a student-run independent body, dedicated to fostering the entrepreneurial mindset among students and providing them a platform with abundant learning opportunities and industry exposure in the field of entrepreneurship. Apart from the well-known Annual events “Biz Quiz” and “Pitch Perfect”, E-Cell, in the last few years has stepped ahead and now, is proud to collaborate with 36INC-the startup hub of Raipur, Lemon Ideas School of Entrepreneurship and We Founder Circle. There are no business owners' alumni details available at the official website of IIM Raipur, however, IIM Raipur's notable alumni include Amirta V, Nisarg Rathod, Shachi Agarwal, and more.
Every year, our team is elected by the students at the start of the PGP program. It comprises of 10 members, 2 members from each section. The team functioning undergoes continuous refinement and development through the semi-annual feedback system put in place. There is also an elective course selection committee and the committee ensures the smooth selection of electives in the second year by assisting the PGP Chairman, Area Chairs, and faculty members across all domains in designing and communicating of electives. The Committee is also instrumental in assuring that the industry-relevant courses become a vital part of the curriculum to enhance students’ learning experiences with the changing trends. It also plays an important role in guiding the students at various stages of the selection process. This is one of the major activities of the committee that is usually conducted in the months of August and September spanning up to six weeks. In these sessions, several rounds of group discussions, mock interviews, and domain-specific sessions are scheduled and conducted in coordination with the faculty, alumni & other committees. This is done to ensure the preparedness of the students for the upcoming placement season.
Arthniti, the Economics and Public Policy Club of IIM Raipur, was established with the aim of cultivating enthusiasm for economics and public policy among students. The members of Arthniti provide a platform to students where they can grow their knowledge about Economics with the help of Guest lectures, Quizzes, Workshops, Games, Group Discussions, Debates, and Peer learning. Along with two weekly initiatives Hulchul and E-shots where we share the current happenings in the world and economics-related terminology with the students of IIM Raipur. The Academic Committee serves as an integral part of the PGP, working hand in hand with the PGP administration to ensure the proper maintenance of academic rigor. It is responsible for encouraging an intellectually stimulating environment by supporting the PGP office in the smooth functioning of classes, examinations, and other activities like setting up the curriculum, planning the academic calendar, training, and preparedness of the batch for GDs and Interviews. Apart from the keen focus on academic success, the committee is also responsible for ensuring the personal development of students and maintaining student satisfaction.

A candidate who wishes to withdraw from the program before withdrawal date specified by the Institute, he/she will be refunded the acceptance fee after deduction of Rs.1000 as a processing fee. A candidate who withdraws after the withdrawal date specified by the institute, he/she will be paid after deducting hostel and other charges applicable if the seat is filled, else, the entire fee is forfeited.
Indian institute of Management Raipur has not released the fees structure of fellowship program in management in online mode.
IIM Raipur MBA admissions are based on the CAT, followed by a Personal Interview. And it is for 2 years in duration. The courses are full time, regular and on campus.
IIM Raipur does not offer distance education courses either in MBA or in PhD. There are only regular-mode courses offered in IIM Raipur.
The registration fee structure of the MDP course at IIM Raipur is INR 30,000 with GST. The fee includes the academic fees, programme kit, and hostel room with twin sharing. Payment will be made online only.
The certification courses are offered at under graduation and post-graduation level. It includes an executive development program in project management and PGCM in human resource management.
