- The campus is situated in Kashmir which is heaven on earth means the campus location is very beautiful.
- Campus Life is awesome, you'll have a plenty of time to explore the campus Life

- And if you are expecting some fests like IIT bombay techfest then you are going to be disappointed
- Construction work which is going on continuously makes us feel disconfort here and makes us feel bad

- Great weather and Lovely people feels like a holiday package even we can see mountains from our hostel . The famous Dal Lake is just behind the hostel.
Dislikes
- There is not enough exposure due to the remote location of the college not many opportunities are provided by the college you have to do everything on your own.
Placement Experience:
placements are average due to recessions but still better as compared to private colleges. but you have to work hard in order to crack a decent placement. and have a CGPA of atleast 7.5 in onder to be in a safe zone to sit for placements.

- In time restrictions on girls and not so good mess food

This year due to recession the placement scenario was not great however still most of students were able to get placed The students are eligible for placement after 6 sem The highest package was 1800000 And average package is 800000 Almost 40% students are placed After the degree I plan to prepare for government job

- Faculty: The teachers are exception in their respective field and leave no opportunity to convey the knowledge they possess.
- Campus: The campus is located on the banks of famous Dal Lake which adds to the beauty of the college.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement after 3rd year. Various companies have visited our college including JSW, tata steels, Microsoft etc The highest package was about 45lpa and the average was about 15lpa More than 90% of students gets placed I plan to pursue M.tech after completing my current course

- There will be more preference to the academics .
- Our NIT is the most beautiful campus especially when when the snowfall occurs.
Dislikes
- There will be no preference to the sports activities
- no proper roads especially in rainy season .
Placement Experience:
From the sixth semester students become eligible for the placements. There are many like comapnies like vedantu , HCL etc... and up to now the placeent percentage is 80%.The highest package offered. Percentage of students who got placed up to know is 80%.

- CAMPUS:- if you love the nature and want to spend your four years of college in lap of nature then you must come.
- ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:- the details institute maintains high standards and offers a wide range of UG,PG, and doctoral programs in engineering.
Dislikes
- Connectivity and accessibility:- the geographical location of my college,while scenic may pose challenges in terms of accessibility and connectivity.
- Security concern:-given the geopolitical situation, in the region, security concern may be factor for some students and their families.
Placement Experience:
Placement in my college is decent, previous year one student got highest package of 52 lakh . Average of package of my college is around 7-8 lakh per annum. If I talk about my branch metallurgy the highest package in this branch is 13 lakh per annum and average is around 7.5lakh per annum

Course Curriculum Overview:
this course was my preference because of my interest in metal and mining , i was getting electrical branch in nit patna as per my jee mains rank but my interest and enthusiasm for metal brought me here . Faculty are too good to be true, they are always willing to teach students and solve there doubts. student ratio of our college is same as other government ENGG. colleges . all the teachers are well qualified , All of them had done their Masters and some of them has done Ph.d and rets of all are pursuing it. as the a year is divided into two semester , each semester has 2 exams. called insem and endsem, insem comprises of 30 marks and endsem is of 70 marks, the level of questions are east to medium, passing the exam is not a challenge.

- Environment is good and the opportunity they provide is also good
- Campus life is also good and the fun you did with your friends is a good thing.
Dislikes
- Nothing all good here but students from different states cant match our vibe.
Placement Experience:
Placements are not that much good but students have opportunities to show their skills and besides that, I dont know that much. Every time 70-80 percent of students get placed in our college. My plan after getting the degree is to apply for some government exams.

- I hate the Hostel facilities in the college.
- I hate the GYM facilities of the college.
Placement Experience:
Placement culture in the college for higher branches like CSE, IT, and ECE is good, but for branches like MME, civil, and chemical is not so good. From the 6th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements.

- It's beauty of the campus of national institute technology Srinagar
- The placements are really really nice I love it

- The thing I dislike the most is hostel mess food which is not good
- It's the electricity in the area which creates problem

The placements in our college are very good fact you can check on our college site where you get all the details of the placements average package is 8 lakh and almost 67 percent of students have got placed and my plans after getting the degree are prepare for the civil services

After 5th semester we can sit in placements drive. Many companies visit nit srinagar like Infosys, Tcs, wipro, l and t, etc. highest package in this year was 30lpa and avg package is about 5 LPA. Around 40% of students are getting placements. Rest are approaching to higher studies by cracking GATE.
