NIT Delhi BTech Admission 2024 is expected to start in June- July 2024, based on the JEE Mains score. The applications for JEE Mains (Session II) are open. The last date to register for the same is March 2, 2024. JEE Mains (Session II) examinations will be conducted from April 1 to April 15, 2024. The results will be announced on April 25, 2024.

NIT Delhi offers 4 year BTech program in 6 specailizations namely Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. JEE Mains cutoff is the minimum mark to acquire a seat at the institute and for 2023, NIT Delhi BTech cutoff closed at 68350 rank and 34216 rank for the home state and other state candidates respectively. 

NIT Delhi allows admission to its BTech program based on the marks secured in the JEE Mains. However, candidates are also required to obtain at least 60% of aggregate marks in their 10+2 with PCM as compulsory subjects. For the selection to the NIT Delhi BTech program, aspirants must register themselves for the JoSAA counselling for the seat allotment procedure.

NIT Delhi BTech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program at NIT Delhi must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates must have at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA overall.

NIT Delhi BTech Admission 2024

NIT Delhi offers to students who have obtained 60% aggregate marks in Class 12. Final selection of the students is done on the basis of JEE rank followed by JoSAA counselling.

How to Apply?

  • On the NIT Delhi website, complete the e-application form and upload all required papers.
  • The Institute officials will check the paperwork. If there is a problem with the students' certificates, the official will email the students and let them know.
  • You will receive a roll number once the admissions procedure has been completed. Your Roll No. will be sent to you via email, and the faculty adviser will also provide instructions on registering for online classes and receiving your Roll No.
  • A faculty advisor will be given to each student, who will receive guidance throughout the registration process.
  • Through their registered mail address, each student will receive an Institute email ID.
  • In the Microsoft Teams App, online classes will be delivered until everything returns to normal.
  • Through their mail, each student will receive a user ID and password.
  • Students must immediately log into the Microsoft Teams App with their roll number to attend all classes.

Note: The fee mentioned is per semester. Candidates belonging to Gen/OBC/SC/ST/PH category whose family income is less than 1 Lac are exempted from Tuition fee payment.

NIT Delhi BTech Course Details

NIT Delhi offers BTech in CSE, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The 4 year program consists of 8 semesters, in the first 2 semesters all students study the same curriculum. Curricula of the program is suggested by Undergraduate Program and Evaluation Committee (UGPEC). NIT Delhi BTech includes summer courses, regular attendance, evaluation processes, and classroom discussions in which students must participate for good grades.
