From the 7 semesters itself, the students become eligible for campus placements many companies visited the college and it has made 500+ offers with the highest package going 4 cr and the average package going 30 lakhs almost every student get the placements and also many students opt for higher studies or going into different fields like upsc such as my case

The campus placements are open for students from the 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Optiver, Google, and Facebook visit the campus for placements. The highest package offered goes as high as 2.4 Crore and the minimum as low as 9 lakhs.
From the 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Lots of famous companies like Google, Microsoft, and many famous companies. Around 90% got placed. The highest package is 1CR and the average package is around 12-14 lakhs. Around 1100 offers are made per year. I'll go for the Job.
It was my Dream collegeBeing born and brought up in Delhi. I used to regularly visit the college and from those days only I decided that I will do my b.tech from here. Though, it was a tough decision as my I had to let down my father's dream of seeing me as a doctor. Let's see, maybe I will do phd from here and add doctor in my first name initials
There are 8 semesters overall. A student becomes eligible after 6 semesters for campus placements. Meanwhile, you can go for internships after sem1 only. About 100 companies visit the college every year. And IITD has a really high placement percentage (~80%).

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
