Ignou is one of the best universities for distance learning.
Ignou gives many different types of courses in its university.

Dislikes

In this admission fee, the book fee is also included, but the book delivery system is not very good.
There is no after placement services in this university

Faculty:

There was no faulty student ratio because it was an online institution that provided distance learning. That is why there was no teaching mentorship or appropriate teaching guidance. Otherwise, it can be provided through YouTube and WhatsApp so that mentors can give directions to students.

IGNOU good for those students who doing job as well as doing degree from IGNOU because hear not regular classes only two classes in week Saturday and Sunday so those students who are preparing any government exams so definitely take admission .
No attendance issue and only two classes in week .

Dislikes

If you are interested take admission in IGNOU make sure take own responsibility because nobody guide you like professor and other facilities .
Hear Major problem not proper schedule for practical exams and studentts struggling in giving practical exams because not proper schedule given by college .

Faculty:

Faculty well qualified experienced and faculty to student ratio good and approach to teaching students good supportive in natur also taking extra classes if we needed .they helpe student to write assignment and projects.good in terms of nature and also in teaching.

I liked that attendance is not compulsary in ignou, Hence I can prepare for my government job exams
There is is flexibility of exams, A Student can give exams in both june and December session

Dislikes

I did not get seat in practical exams, because of large number of students

The fee structure is quite economical. When I compare it with other universities, it is relatively very low. It can be opted for by almost everybody, especially for students who can barely afford to do basic education after class12th, it is a boon.
The assignments are submitted for two semesters together and the exams are also, done for two semesters together. Also, if you miss giving exam in the respective month , there is also an option to give reappear for the exam in the next term , genius.

Dislikes

The exam schedule is quite irrational sometimes, it coincides with other competitive exams which is why students have to skip this exam and wait to appear for them in next term . Thus , they have to get their facts right while preparing the schedule.
The study centres that work with IGNOU need to be prepared. Some study centres are way too far and the teachers in charge throw tantrums while invigilating the exam

Faculty:

There are a lot of students who opt for IGNOU because of its lucrative fee structure and zero time management issues. The teachers are also very supportive. They also give personal phone numbers when there is interaction in online classes, in case the students have any doubts . Thus, we can say that the teachers are quite approachable and easy to communicate with because they understand the students very well. The faculty members are also very supportive. There was this one time , when I got late to submit my assignment by five minutes and I was scared that they might turn down my assignments but to my surprise the authorities welcomed me warmly , I mean they did ask me to be on time the next time but they were very supportive. It is not like that they support you in your wrongs but they understand if something is going on with us . They create a very personal environment, for the students to open up and clarify all they want to.Thus,one can say that IGNOU definitely has the best one's

It is guaranteed that the study material provided by IGNOU is excellent. You'll have a great time going through them. It will undoubtedly provide you with a thorough understanding of the subject. However, it is not without difficulty. You get to work hard. If you want to study Economics via distance education, IGNOU is your best bet.

However, pursuing it at a regular university in a face-to-face mode may be preferable because teachers can assist you with your difficulties. However, if you are already employed, MA in Economics from IGNOU is an excellent choice.

Pros:

IGNOU offers a BBA with a Specialization in Retailing (rather than a general BBA), which broadens your opportunities in the retail sector beyond sales and marketing.
Every year, you receive a certificate. As a result, you can begin working immediately after finishing your 12th grade and continue to advance each year. You don't have to wait three years for a degree before you can get a job. You can study while working.
Every year, you are given a project that allows you to gain real-world experience in the retail industry and complete it in retail organisations.
Retail Associations of India is collaborating with IGNOU-BBA. You will receive the best curriculum for it.
The course is written in simple language that is easy to understand, and it includes the best knowledge in the retail specialisation.
The cost of this course is the lowest of any university that offers distance education for BBA.

Cons:

There is no Math or Statistics subject in the entire BBA course from IGNOU, so it is entirely theoretical.
Unfortunately, some prestigious MBA programmes look for a Math subject in the course of graduation when accepting applications. However, there will be many colleges that will accept your degree.
Similarly, some government jobs require a Math subject as part of your bachelor's degree programme. However, there will be plenty of opportunities for you in the government. as well as the private sector for employment You can still apply for exams such as Bank PO, SSC, and UPSC.
The same exposure found in regular BBA will never be found in distance BBA. The reason for this is that you will not learn how to give presentations in front of an audience, which is essential if you are studying BBA.

This course is not offered in every city. So, before enrolling in IGNOU's BBA programme, you should contact the IGNOU regional centre in your city. Because this course is taken by a small number of students, it is only available in a few cities. However, when comparing distance universities for the course of BBA, it is recommended that IGNOU is the best because of its lower cost, reputation, and educational standard.
