Course Details
IPU MCA admission 2024 is ongoing. The university has started the online registration process for admission to MCA courses on the basis of NLT/ CET for the academic year 2024-25. If any vacancy remains, then the rest of the seats will be offered on the basis of CUET PG scores. The last date to submit the duly filled application form is August 08, 2024. IPU MCA Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for MCA admission at IPU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50%aggregate marks with mathematics and English as core subjects.
- Candidates should be at least 20 years of age to apply for this course
- The candidate should have qualified CET
IPU MCA Admission Criteria
Admissions to MCA at IPU are based on NIMCET scores. Admissions will also be granted on the basis of IPU Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) scores. However, the first preference will be given to NIMCET and IPU CET or CUET scores will be given second preference. The final selection will be done through a counseling process based on entrance exam scores and cutoff released by the university.

IPU MCA Application Process
- Visit the official website of IPU - ipu.ac.in
- Go to the Admission Section on the homepage and click on “Apply Online”
- Click on “IPU Registration” to proceed further
- Click on “Fresh Candidate Registration” in order to signup at IPU admission portal
- Read the terms and conditions carefully and click on “I Agree” to proceed further
- Fill in the necessary details like Name, Mobile No, Email ID, and create your user id and password
- Click on Submit button and you’ll be redirected to the login page
- Now, log in using your user id and password
- Fill the application form by providing General and Professional Information along with Payment details
- Upload the scanned copies of the required documents
- Verify the details you have provided in the form and check the Declaration box
- Submit the application form and pay an application fee of INR 1500/- by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking
- After fee submission, course details along with transaction ID will be displayed
- Download and take a printout of the application form for further reference

- Parking services as the campus includes 3-4 colleges altogether so we have 2 parking places
- Commutable location as it is very near to the metro station (govind puri)and the bus stand(govind puri)
Dislikes
- Faculties partial behaviour towards some students like ot giving them enough internal marks or being rude to the students for no apparent reason even when students does everything they say so.
- Placement coordinator is the biggest drawback here in BCIIT, he doesn't work enough to get job opportunities for children and then scold then for not getting placed
Course Curriculum Overview:
MCA Is very diverse and covers almost every part of IT sector in itself. I aspire to be a data analyst and i have got some learning throughout my MCA journey. Talking about the curriculum,i would say it is adequate according to the learning pace of students it has all the important aspects of actually being a good software developer in future, you can enhance your coding skills in almost every language (programming) and the DSA part of the code is taught here very well to make the ground strong. There is 1 internal and 1 external every semester except for the last semester (4th) because it has only dissertation. So if you study fine during internals you can easily ace your externals.

- College timings were also ok. 8:30 - 4:00 pm

- Placement support not good at all. Its like even if it is the smallest company with bad reviews and you have cleared then you have to join.
Course Curriculum Overview:
For my batch, the course curriculum was too old approximately 10 years, and did not relate much to the real-life applications or the ways things happen in a corporation. I chose this course as I did BCA in graduation and hoped for better placements hence a gateway for me to a good life after paying so much fees. Now the curriculu has changed but the teaching methods can be made more practical and interactive so as to keep them relative to real-world applications and AI and data-related subjects can be introduced in the curriculum.

The course curriculum is the very best of the college. this is updated for the new syllabus. this college ensure good teaching method provide the students. they provide each of the subject materials by the faculty they are very helpful of each of the students.

The faculty not only focuses on theory but practicals too. You will have to do projects in each semester which makes you industry ready. - The food of the canteen is not that good, and you don't get much options
- There is not much club activities, although few new clubs have started recently so this might change.

The course structure for MCA is really good , the syllabus was updated in 2021, so you will get the current tech stacks, such as AI&ML, Full Stack and Flutter. You will get an in depth knowledge of the core languages such as, java, dbms, computer networks and os. The faculties are really good and you get a great learining environment.

- Computer lab have pretty old hardware which could be upgraded

I took MCA after my bachelor's because it was during the lockdown and I didn't have any placement from DU, here we have 1 faculty for every subject. All faculty members have Ph.D.s, and college exams are easy to pass some randomness is involved.
